This team has the look of a loser right now and that must change now. You don't wait until the playoffs start. Now is the time to put fear back into the opposition. Right now there is not a team in the league that fears the Celtics, and that is not good.

Nobody would fear the Spurs without Duncan, either.

You're the one who isn't calm, Mike-dub.  You must learn to cope with losing.  The capital letters don't help.

You need to learn to cope with losing... You are the one who had a panic attack when we lost to the Magic and right away said that we have no shot at winning it all and that the Hawks are going to come out of the East.  Oh and how do I need to calm down when there are threads of not starting KG, playing Tony Allen more over Ray, and taht Kendrick Perkins is awful (not in those words but that was the post), and people saying this team can't win it...

We all need to calm down and put the team into perspective and realize that the goal is to win a championship and be healthy and playing well going into the playoffs...

We don't need to act like the sky is falling after every loss.

Who fears the Spurs with him?

When the playoffs start, every team is going to fear the Spurs.  Same with the Celts if we are healthy.

Haven't read the entire thread here, but all I know is that the healing starts tonight with KG returning.

Don't expect a "Player of the Week" KG tonight, either - man will be a little rusty after Doc gave him nearly three weeks off. His presence will be needed, though.

I expect him to be nearly into game form come next week - just in time to continue the east's dominance over the Lakers.

It's been a rough couple of weeks here on the blog. Tempers flaring, people upset. Well, the fun starts again tonight.

Tonight's game starts an important stretch of games for us....To quote Sgt Johnson from Halo 3: "Brace yourselves, we're going in a Little Hot!!"

The fun starts again tonight, People. ;D

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
To me the most important thing to remember is that the games will turn out exactly the same whether you panic or not, since as fans we have zero control or influence on what happens to the team.  So why panic at all?  If your entertainment is making you anxious or angry, step back, find a new source of entertainment for a few days and then come back to it.

In every season we have some trouble,
when you worry you make it double...

Since Portland will not have Roy tonight, I expect the Celtics to destroy them.

They beat Orlando without him.

Why? The Spurs haven't gotten better, they've just gotten older.

I hope the Celtics don't share your mindset or we would be in for another big disappointment. :P

Portland can play very well even without Roy, it's quite amazing by the way.

ssspence > The Spurs are definitely better, and they will really feared come playoffs time.

and we lost to a detriot team without Ben Gordon, Prince, and a sick Rip Hamilton.

so lets not start making bets.

  • Let them hate, as long as they fear
Everybodys wrong, is that what you are implying?
And someday in the midst of time,
When they ask you if you knew me
Remember that you were a friend of mine
