It seems like the guy I've been wanting all along. (since the offseason) may be available. I think he would be a better fit on this team than Nate Robinson.

Dorrell Wright, what about trading for him.

Eh.  Maybe it is just because I always remembered the comparisons between him and Gerald Green, but I just don't think he is a very good player.  I have never been impressed watching him, and his numbers are pretty weak.

if Miami is trading him in order to get under the tax threshold, don't they have to deal with a team that has a trade exception....

they only benefit if they  are taking back less salaries than they are sending out, right?

right. they need to get rid of his whole salary and not take any back. the Cs can't help them.

I think we should try. Wright is already a decent role-player with plenty of upside.

I would take him.  Unlike Gerald, he has developed into a good defender at the SF and against smaller, quicker PFs.


Aka, he would be an extra defender with size to throw at Lebron and Lewis; giving Pierce and KG a bit of a break.
