Perk just had a tough time with Dampier (and then Dirk when he switched), but that's not an indication of his inability. The guy handled Dwight Howard of all big men, so it's safe to say he can cover just about any big man.

Yes. Absolutely. He shuts down Shaq and Howard consistently...this is a topic with a very short memory.
