Anything to end the Eddie House Experiment.

Anything.

Eddie House "Experiment"... Really?
You've obviously only ever watched the last 40 games in Celtic history or you're kidding.
No one who has been watching the last two seasons could say that Eddie has been an experiment. Would you put him down with Darius Miles, Mikki Moore and Marbury? Pfft.

LOL. The House "experiment" has worked for the most part. We did win a championship with him. He's just having a terrible season.

Nate appears oblivious @ Twitter. Dunno if this has been noted yet, since it was 18 hours ago:

Meh, Twitter isn't 100% reliable. Neither are NBA players.

Yep. Maybe thehoopsforum's claims are totally false but considering the team's recent struggles and the official "denies", I think we can assume the trade is still in the works.

Here is thehoopsforum's latest tweet (10 minutes ago) :

I have put in an inquiry as to w/e the delay is... as of last night the ball was in NY's court...

I think someone was taking people for a ride.

I have no doubt that Danny probably inquired and there was some back and forth but "no deal is imminent."

That's the internet for you...

danny loves this team remember? the 4 guys on the bench that contribute absloutely zero....the streaky shooter that continues to brick shots...the PF that doesn't play defense, is out of shape and would like to stand and chuck 3 after 3....the overweight baby that acts like one...the cure all at the wing with the history of missing a ton of games only to continue the trend now in boston....the starting 5 that looks old, creeky and oft injured....but danny and doc love this team....

i wish they would smell what they are shoveling....the idea that come april everything will be great is a dangerous idea....half this team is or has broken down already and we arent even to the all star break.

there is absolutely no doubt that the bench needs an upgrade...

The NateRob rumors are encouraging if for no other reason than they seem to indicate that maybe Danny sees how important it is to upgrade the bench.

Hey, I love the team too, but the bench is not good and/or versatile enough.

right now it is that dire. right now they are a middle of the pack basketball team that is hurt. old and unfocused. can they get better? i hope....but i am not sold on the bench esp when guys like scal, sheldon, giddens and walker don't contribute much of anything...i mean look at austin daye last night....comes in and plays very well...young guy...who does that for boston? nobody...their young guys watch and when they get time...they are afraid to shoot...

Oh, I have huge doubts that the bench needs an upgrade.  If everyone is healthy, this may be the best bench in the league.  What this bench needs is health.

Remember, this team is missing two of their top 6-7 players (depending what you think of Wallace).  Don't you think that has an effect on the bench?

Sure, it would be nice to upgrade spots 9-12, but I don't think Danny is that concerned with that right now.  Especially since many of the guys he would need to trade are playing major roles right now, filling in, so a trade would likely set this team back in the short-run, which defeats the whole purpose.

the thing is danny should have known the injury history of a guy like daniels...he has missed a ton of games each year...they put so much into daniels (PG. wing) that when he went down...the Cs bench got sunk...and i still have a hard time grasping the feeling that this team is ever going to be 100 percent healthy this season. i think there will be someone important who is always injured for this team. trade the spare parts for someone that can help.

Well, right now, their other top bench player is playing with the starters as well.  Even though Wallace has some flaws, having him as a 6th man is huge, and would do wonders for this bench.  Even without Daniels in there, a bench of House, Tony Allen, Glen Davis, and Rasheed Wallace is one of the best in the league.  One of House, Tony Allen, Glen Davis, and Brian Scalabrine is not.

I disagree that House, TA and Baby represent one of the best benches in the league. Sheed is a good bench player. Daniels is a good bench player. But between their own health, RW's techs, and injuries to starters, they -- as you say -- don't constitute a bench. If 1 or 2 of our top 7 are going to be injured or out throughout the year, then 8-12 is our bench. And they're bad like they were last year.

This team dies when the second unit hits the floor. They can't score, can't defend. Dreaming of the Cs flipping some switch of productivity and health is not an appropriate way to chase a championship. Again like last year, the bench's flaws will lead to more minutes for tired starters, which will lead to exhaustion and injury.

I'm sure Ainge is exhausting our possibilities to improve the team, thankfully. If the Celtics can parley House, Scal and change or TA, Scal and change into a more legitimate offensive threat -- a player who can actually create his own shot -- they absolutely need to do it.

My opinion is that right now the Knicks have the Celtics offer in hand but are waiting to see if they get something better. When they don't, the trade will be completed. I think for now they are looking for a team to take on a bad contract of theirs in exchange for Nate. This will not happen.

My inside source tells me you will see Nate in green close to the trading deadline. My inside source is the voice of reason in my head, this consequently is the same inside source a lot of online writers like "thehoopsforum" use to get their information.
