I think the Celtics should trade for Nate, i would trade TA because he seems lost when hes out there, plus his role wont be needed once daniels comes back, a bench of Nate/House/Daniels/Davis/Wallace once everyone is healthy with some combo of sheldon/giddens/walker rounding it out would be solid, nate could bring the ball up freeing house to shoot and daniels to defend, hence daniels wont be needed to bring the ball up and allen wont be needed to defend, nate could take daniels' role and daniels could take TA's role, nates problems arent anything serious that the C's wont be able to control. once you leave the knicks, guys play better, even a stiff like channing frye was playing great earlier this year.

I'd trade a first round pick.

TA has stepped up and become a valuable bench player. The only flaw in his game is his ball handling (and he's still better than Eddie and just as good as Ray.), and this won't be a problem because that's why we're getting Nate.

JR has already had his option for next year denied and he's just a not as good Tony Allen, so he's gone in a heartbeat.

Billy Walker is an affordable player with alot of upside so i'd keep him.

Eddie is a step down from Nate in EVERY category besides three point shooting, except Nate can create his own three point shots. I'd trade him.

Giddens, Walker, Scal, Shelden.  Why isn't Scal and Walker an option?

I would trade Eddie and their choice of Billy or JR and if it absolutely came down to it I'd throw in a 1st rounder.

If Nate comes Eddie has no role on this team.  Nate becomes the scorer, shooter, ballhandler and pg off the bench.  Eddie is too small to match up against against 2's so his role is gone.

I'd keep TA b/c he is a valuable defensive player, plays well off the ball and is insurance as the first wing off the bench if Marquis can't come back strong.  If you get rid of TA you are forcing either Billy/JR into the 4th wing role, which is important b/c of the age of PP and RA and the health of MD.  With them their Doc may likely choose increased minuets over young players.

I'd try to stay away from trading Shelden or Scal b/c this team needs all the depth they can get at forward. With Rasheed and KG age, injury and minuets are important factors.  Depth beyond BBD is important.

I'd trade Scal if there was a buyout involved so the C's could bring him back at the vet min.  There would also have to be a trade of Eddie worked in there b/c I think keeping Eddie there would create some internal personality issues.

Please, PLEASE: DO NOT TRADE FIRST ROUND PICK.

We need it, we need young legs... Think about young players drafted this year. We can pick a good player out there

just curious, of the options listed, are any actually viable in the trade checker?  If not, this would be kind of pointless.

however, assuming we have options to get Nate, I'd rather see House moved.  Nate would be coming in to provide what House isn't providing---ballhandling and offense.  House would no longer be needed so he's the best option to be sent out.

I'd hang on to TA since Quis is still injured and we don't know if he'll recover to where he's productive.  TA's been productive this year so not as much motivation to move him.

Keep Shelden and (oh my god I can't believe I'm saying this) Scal as front-court insurance in case KG and/or Sheed go down with injuries again.

Danny needs to hold on to draft picks if at all possible.  Drafting is his strength and the only real option the C's have for adding youth to the team for the next couple of years at least.  It's unlikely he'll find a starter where he'll be picking for the next 2-3 year at least but there's a good chance he'll find a good rotation player or 2.

Keep Scal?  I only think we need to keep one of Shelden or Scal, especially if we have to take on Jeffries.

I'd trade House too if that's what NY wants.  House seems perfect for Dantoni's system.

I wouldn't trade for JUST Nate. NY wants cap relief for next year right?

So how about TA/House/JR/Scal for Nate/Jeffries/Chandler? Makes sense for both teams imo.

I really don't mind getting back Jeffries/Curry, even if it doesn't include Chandler. The Knicks have been an atrocious team for the past 5 years at least, and Jeffries and Curry were good before they came to the Knicks, so I think it can work for them again if they come here. But this is the main reason I would do that: I just want to get rid of Scalabrine and Giddens as soon as possible.

I believe that it is in our best interest not to trade for Nate. Now I have been a big proponent of bringing him in but I think a trade is unwise. The Knicks are going to be forced to cut him at some point due to the value of offers they are recieving. Why pay a team for someone they are going to buy out anyway. If we give up more than a 2nd, Giddens and Sheldon I will not be happy.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I would not trade House.  If Nate doesn't work out, then there is not offensive spark in the backcourt coming off the bench.

A hot House can still spark this team in the 2nd and 4th quarters.

he's a free agent after this year. if traded, his bird rights are lost so the Cs must use the MLE to sign him.

Exactly.  He would be a rental.  So that needs to be kept in mind when determining his value.
