With Dallas out, the Jets and Colts remain as my least desired teams.  Hoping SD does what they should do tonight and end the Jets season. The Jets do worry me a little and I think their confidence will either be bolsterd or busted early in this game.  If bolstered, watch out -- playing with confidence and emotion they could beat SD. But if San Diego can come out strong (as they should), I'm guessing the Jets will fold quickly.
New Orleans is my hope in the NFC since I'm not a huge fan of Favre, but if the Colts get into the Superbowl, it's all about beating the Colts.
BTW, I am now the worst kind of fan -- rooting for teams to lose. It's silly, immature and a little embarrassing - but I can't deny my emotions.  It's like when the C's are out, the only thing I care about is the Lakers losing.

So Vikings-Saints in the NFC Championship...

Who ya got?

Gotta go with Vikings. Brett has elevated that team to another level. Man's presence alone has an already talented team without him believing in themselves.

Happy for the man and would love to see the Vikings get a ring.

I gotta say that I'll be pulling for the Saints.  They're a likable bunch. I like Brees, Coloston, Thomas, etc...  Fun team to watch.  That city has been through a lot in the last few years and I think it'd be great for them to finally win a championship.

Vikings.

I want to see Farve win a SB this season.  It creates a different type of story in the offseason on whether or not he returns.
Oh my god no.

The slobbering all over Farve during the lead up to the SB would be too much to take.

Predictions for the Chargers/Jets game?

Interesting in that the Jets match up really well with the Chargers.

This will probably be the close game of the weekend.  Still think the Chargers are the better team but, as we've seen in the past, sometimes momentum can really carry a team far so who knows?

Can you imagine Favre vs. Manning?  The media's collective heads would explode.

I'm saying Colts vs. Saints.

SD relies on the big play, which you can get against a blitzing team. So I can see SD winning big.

Still the weakness of the Jets is run defense, and SD is the worst team in the NFL at that. If the Jets can create a few turnovers I think they'll hold the ball and make it a close game into the second half. I still think SD will win in the end.

I think the Saints/Colts will win too. The Vikings couldn't run it much today and coasting on offense because their defense destoryed the Cowboys offensive line. The Saints have a better line and a better QB when it comes to dealing with pressure. I think it'll be a high scoring NFC title game.

I'm not so sure about the Colts, I think SD is a tough match up for them.

Not a good start for SD, already in a third and long situation.

Why in the world do you run on that play, SD completely sold out on the run for that play.

Jets can't move the ball at all.

At some point, if they want to win this game, they're going to have to put the ball in Sanchez' hands and hope for the best.
