Chris:I really don't know what people are seeing to suggest he needs to get his legs underneath him.  He really has been very effective already, and not a whole lot different than he was the last two years with his conditioning.

I mentioned this earlier

A player can be on a bike and jog and run suicides all day long but they will never replicate what it takes get into NBA shape from a cardiovascular point of view

This end will always take some time to get back

I sit close to the court and you could hear him audibly sucking air at times last night

But otherwise, Baby appeared to me to be in much better physical condition than when I saw him at the end of last year

His quickness is better as he did a great backdown move on Noah and then a lightning quick 90 degree turn into the basket for two that was impressive

His little turnaround jumper from about 8 feet on the baseline also looked good last night

Pick 2 Knicks

PG: George Hill, Ty Lawson
SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D
PF: Zach Randolph, Kenyon Martin, Jon Brockman, Dante Cunningham
C:  Nene Hilario,   Own rights: Nikola Pekovic IR: Kyle Weaver

Fans tend to forget how young he is and yes, he got in a scuffle before the season started. What 23 year old do you know that doesn't display unfortunate judgement at times? But in a mature way, he apologized. When the season started and I realized he was going to be out for a long time, I was so depressed. But then I thought how depressed it must have made him and my heart went out to him.

His first year as a rookie, his team won the C. and he played in alot of those games. His first year as a non rookie in the NBA, when KG went down during the playoffs, he started for us with an amazing grace, talent and confidence for a 2nd year player without much play time. We may not have won the C. but he played admirably well. And he is certainly not to blame for the loss of the C., as there were many other factors for that loss, not the least being the shock of losing KG and the whole rotation being different than planned.

Now it is a fact that it takes time to get your legs back. Gosh, everyone knows that. And considering how well he is playing now, just coming back, I am impressed and feel that he will, as Bakhu said, continue to get better and better the longer he plays.

The only thing I worry about is his getting enough mintues to really play and learn his game in the NBA. I believe he is talented enough to start in the NBA, as he did last season, and the reason he wasn't snatched up by others was because Celtics said they would match any offer up to, I think, 5 or 6 mill.

GO BIG BABY!!!!!!

Also, MOST IMPORTANT POINT: He started for the 2008-09 championship games for the reigning championship team last year in place of KG (the Big Ticket), in only his 1st year as a non-rookie. That's pretty impressive.
