Not sure if anyone has thought of this or not.  Since there is speculation of Big Al being on the block...What do you think?  It works in the trade checker, but i am sure the Twolves wont bite.

Somehow I don't think Danny Ainge would bother to call Kahn about this one.

If Big Al really is on the block Kahn has to be looking for a young wing or center.

Yeah, this is not happening.  However, if I were the Bulls, I would be on the phone with Kahn right now, discussing something based around Deng and Big Al.

Yes! If Kahn is stupid enough to make this move (after drafting 20 pg's I think he is), we get a big man that can play some in the post! We lose nothing in Giddens at the moment, and the combined loss from Sheed and Scal is greatly made up in Big Al. Plus, for the future (3 years later) we have a superstar pg, and all-star center, and a superstar forward in Rondo, Perk, and Jefferson. As for the present the lineup would be championship one

SF: Pierce/Quis/Tony
PF:Jefferson/KG/BBD
C:Perk/KG/Sheldon

I don't mind giving Big Baby and Sheed to get Big Al. If this trade goes down, we should try to get Diop from NJ for maybe Scal; and Shaun Livingston for Sheldon Williams and Gidden/walker. We'll have Diop, Al, Daniels, TA, House and Livingston coming off the bench.

The three way trade between Utah, Minnesota and Boston might work. Boston gets Al Jefferson, Minesota gets Boozer and Utah gets Sheed, JR and expiring contract of Scal. Its a win win situation for all the teams involved.
Also we could send house, baby, TA, Williams and Walker to Warriors for Maggette and Anthony Randolph.
And finally we could sign players like Livingston and Diop to fill the roster space. Our starting five will be unchanged. We'll have Diop, Al, Randolph, Corey maggette, Daniels,and Livingston coming off the bench.

This trade is between Utah, Minesota, chicago and Boston. Boston gets Al Jefferson and Ramon session. Minnesota gets Boozer, John Salmons. Utah gets Rasheed, Kirk hinrich, J. Johnson and expiring contract of Scalabrine. Chicago gets Glen Davis, Kirilenko and Tony Allen.

Considering the MAJOR injury questions, the documented decline, and the 2 years after this one remaining, I would have to think long and hard about trading KG for Jefferson and Sessions.

For Kahn, this could happen if he's panicking and decides to try to cater to local good will by bringing back the Big Ticket.

For Boston, yes, I realize that defense is important and that healthy-ish KG is a better defender than Al. I also realize that our team is better with healthy-ish KG than we look right now. However, that is in part due to the fact that right now we are playing Scal/Sheed in the starting lineup in stead of a 20/10 young guy who commands a double team in the post. It would certainly change the look of our team to have that type of player instead of KG, but I am not convinced we would be worse as, especially after this season. Throw in Sessions, a legit 1/2 backup, and I may have to do it.

Count me among those who would love to have Big Al back, but I really think Kahn is trying to gauge his value rather than trade him...he was rumored to be offered for Indiana's franchise player, not for expirings, prospects, role players, and picks.

But I'd call and ask, offering our crap low draft picks, expirings, a much cheaper BBD, and 'Sheed's fat rear end.

**Sidebar:  When 3 all-stars, the coach, and even the owner parade out to your house and ask you to join their team for a title chase, you don't drag your sorry fat A$$ into camp out of shape.  Screw you, Rasheed Wallace.  Getting traded to 'Sota is what you deserve.

tp..i basically have said this in a thread a few weeks ago about him not coming into camp in shape...if i was the GM and owner that would be enough to start thinking about making a move down the road,when the time was right.I wouldn't take a chance on him lasting 3 full seasons.

Don't get me wrong either Sheed should be very helpful to this team in the playoffs but its a risky business to count on him for 2 more full seasons.I would try to move him after this season especially if things doesn't work out in the playoffs as planned.

Why would Big Al get traded for junk? You can't trade for an allstar ( should be ) with junk. By junk I mean a guy who should be getting minutes but isn't (J.R.) A guy who could be way more dominating than he is, plus he has a bad contract and he's old (Sheed) and arguably the least talented player in the NBA (Scal, at least he hustles as much as anyone)
