Vote Peoples! Voting closes tonight at 7pm. 5 TP's to anyone who votes, then says who they voted for and why.

Sorry, I apparently left the thread locked. Unlocked now, comment away and be sure to post if you've already voted.

Voted for the Knicks trade.

Its not the biggest trade but I think it makes sense for both parties involved.  Seems pretty realistic.  Pretty compelling case was made by the person who suggested it, too.  (Sorry, can't remember who it was exactly)

I have a complaint. :P

My trade proposal shouldn't be mentioned as "Al Jefferson and pieces for K-Mart and pieces" but more like "Al Jefferson and Sessions for K-Mart and pieces" or "Al Jefferson and Session for K-Mart and Garcia", since I think Sessions would be a real asset to the Kings in that deal and not a simple piece.

Other than that, I voted for the following trade idea : K-Mart, Nocioni, Expirings for Bosh, Butler, Blatche

because I think it makes a lot of sense for now and for the future.

Voted for the first option -- House, TA, and Giddens for Nocioni

Nice small trade that improves the Kings cap flexibility. Sacramento needs to build slowly. Run too fast and they'll fall over.

I have a question: How do people see Omar Cassipi?

He's being paid just over a million dollars this year and the next 3, and he's already starting making about 13 points and getting 5 rebounds with 44% from 3.

Why the need to trade for a Caron Butler or other top tier 3?

Let's trade the Celtics Dancers for Al Jefferson ... seems fair to me. But seriously, went with number seven.

selected my trade (Martin & Nocioni for Terry & Howard) since it makes the most sense for both teams.  ;)

Also selected the Big Al & Sessions deal. I don't think it makes much sense for Minny, especially considering they're taking Garcia in the process (NEVER trade a big of Al's skill level -- 26 & 26 last night -- for a jump shooter), but as long as we're fixing the Kings it would be an absolute steal for them.

Start Udrih and Evans in the backcourt, with Casspi, Al and Jason Thompson up front. Bring Sessions, Spanish Chocolate, Noce and Hawes off the bench. That's a nice young line up.

I didn't think Minny would take back all that money either. Honestly considering injury concerns and the "height tax" I thought big al or Bosh would have the same price of K-Mart and Thompson

voted for big al and sessions for kmart and garcia because the kings would be stacked after that, and it would help both teams. i also voted for my trade cp3 and david west for kmart, thompson, and nocioni because i think its a good one lol.

I voted for the Big Al and Sessions trade, mainly because it seems sort of plausible and does improve both teams a bit.  I don't believe the Wolves would ever trade a big like Al for anybody except another big, though.

I also voted for the rights to Ricky Rubio one, because I think Minny is going to have to trade Ricky and they'd get some decent value in that trade for him.  Ricky and Evans in the same backcourt would be pretty interesting, too.

I didn't vote for mine mainly because I don't think you should vote for your own submissions...also the way you put it in the poll makes it seem really one sided, so I'm hoping people actually read my post, or else they'll think my proposal is totally ridiculous (instead of mostly ridiculous :P )

Omri Casspi was a steal for them.  Right now it looks as if the Kings got two of the best rookies (top 5) with the #4 and the #20-something.  That's pretty good value.

Caron Butler is still a lot better than Omri (and probably always will be).  That said, I don't see much sense in trading for him, either.  With Nocioni, Omri, and Donte Greene, they have plenty of 3's.  What they lack is a guy who can do work down low on offense and defense.

I picked mine because it was at zero, and the Rubio plus a pick (though we don't know which Minny pick it is (they have 3 first rounders).

If they pulled off the latter that would be something....

Forgot about Casspi when I did my trade.....so
I'd like to amend Sacramento's lineup to:

Evans
Harden
Green
Casspi
Hawes       (or switch Casspi and Green)  (with Nocioni off the bench)
