Houston shouldn't do this trade simply because Samuel Dalembert's contract will really hinder their effort to reconstruct their team going forward.
Dalembert's contract expires in 2011. He'll be a positive trade asset as soon as next season. Houston can turn him into another valuable asset/contributor.

Contracts that expire the following season rarely have much of a long term detriment. Unfortunately for Sixers fans, Ed Stefanski disagrees and is considering losing substantial talent in order to move Dalembert.

honestly i must be missing something about mcgrady, i don't think he's worth much of anything at this point in his career.  yes the man can score but $ and injuries and attitude?
