The refs definitely influenced this game, but they're not responsible for us getting outscored 56-41 in the second half.

Yes they are responsible for that.  That "flagrant" on BBD followed by Doc's ejection along with other awful calls absolutely sucked the life out of this team tonight.  They weren't the same team after that sequence.
We were still up 6 points at this point, and decided to subsequently toss the game for some reason. Great way to react to adversity.
Yeh, our own fault, that bid. Have to agree.

Also, it *was* a flagrant. Wrapping someones neck = flagrant. Period. (imo)
The big question remains, why did we have to play the starters for the entire second half? I understand the Hawks did exactly the same, but we're _not_ the Hawks.

When we got KG, Sheed & Marquis back these hawks are dead meat. I'm not worried about them.

Salvatore needs to be a WWE ref.  That was his calling.

WWE Refs > NBA Refs

True.  At least they're honest about how they do their jobs.

We are Hulk Hogan, and the Hawks are the Ultimate Warrior.

 :-\

LOL. No. Hogan jobbed to the warrior. C's didn't job to the Hawks.

It's more like:
Celtics = Bret Hart
Hawks = Shawn Michaels
Refs = Earl Hebner/Vince McMahon

Josh Smith talking about all the adversity his team is going through and then tries to make the win look bigger by mentioning the Sheed and KG was out, realized what the hell he was saying and then pauses and says and it's STILL a big win because they still have two HOFers playing so it's still a good win.

LOL.

The C's were the team under adversity and the win is lessened by the Celtics starting and backup PFs not playing.

The number of disappointing third quarters really is a shocker this year, after that was a strength the past two seasons.

When you go to Baby and Perk to close out the game.....it's going to be hard.

The Hawks went to whom?

Joe Johnson and Crawford.

They didn't go to ZaZa freaking Pachulia in the 4th Quarter.

Agreed...I was confused as to why Baby and Perk were getting all the touches in the 4th quarter, when you have guys like Pierce, Ray Allen, and even Rondo, on your team. Bad execution.

Doc needs to chill the f out. Costing us another game IMO... I have not liked his coaching much this year.

We also weren't able to hit clutch shots in the end. Choke job as usual.

yeah, very subtle pause and then a change in his tone. It was kinda funny.
