6TO on Perk. For a big man with few touches, unacceptable.

Can not wait to see Doc hand $25,000 over during the post game and blast the officiating. That should be pure entertainment!!!

Did Thibodeau forget that once they eject the head coach, he's the guy calling the subs?!

Don't understand the thing about sitting people with 4 fouls. Why??? Makes no sense. Would rather see them foul out.

Starters played 40+ minutes on a back to back, the Hawks won a game they should never have won, but the refs gave them the win, and now we are 3-0 against Atlanta and we're going to be dismissed all around the league.

I'm Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ing mad. Sure the Celtics folded after Doc's ejection but I can't blame them, neither can I for their fatigue.

Celtics must ask the league to review this game.

  • Thank you Eddie!
The refs definitely influenced this game, but they're not responsible for us getting outscored 56-41 in the second half.

Yes they are responsible for that.  That "flagrant" on BBD followed by Doc's ejection along with other awful calls absolutely sucked the life out of this team tonight.  They weren't the same team after that sequence.

The Hawks are an immature team and going nowhere.  Should a team be happy to win on the road against a good team?  Sure.  But to act like it was a huge playoff win against a very weakened team just shows how much they have to learn.  To huddle together at halfcourt and act like it was some big time win shows their inexperience.

A mature team would know they beat a very injured opponent, be happy with the win, but walk off the floor business as usual for a regular season game in January.  I look forward very much to playing them in the playoffs when the C's have their full complement of players.  In other words, not needing Scal to start at the 4.  The Hawks should know better not to rub it in, but apparently they don't.

C's once again CHOKE down the stretch.  No matter what led to this it was a tie game with 3 minutes left.

C's failed again on both ends in crunch time tonight.  They were outfought by the Hawks when it mattered most.  Tough teams overcome bad calls, injuries or whatever obstacles arise.

The C's turned a 14 point lead into yet another loss.  The Hawks are supremely confident against this team.  They did everything right down the stretch and there is NO EXCUSE for the way the C's failed down the stretch.

Once again the Celtics failed miserably down the stretch and have yet another loss to show for it.

PITIFUL...

And then two more calls. The out of bounds clearly off the Hawks and the Crawford 3 shots. We got hosed. We should've been up by 20 at that point. Thanks David ( We don't fix games) stern for another crappy fixed game. It seems a little early to be fixing these things but I guess Refs have to practice too.!!!

Ontopic:

We did bad in the end. As we've done for a while. Closing out games like this is becoming hard. I don't feel too bad about it though since I think the refs definitely came up and messed the momentum up big-time.

I agree with the point that there might have been reason to sub some people in the end.

The flagrant was a good call. There were however a lot of bad calls around. That doesn't help. But we still lost it ourselves.

Too bad because the first half was quite cool.

When you go to Baby and Perk to close out the game.....it's going to be hard.

The Hawks went to whom?

Joe Johnson and Crawford.

They didn't go to ZaZa freaking Pachulia in the 4th Quarter.
