Also, don't be surprised if we lost the next game in Atlanta and the Hawks have 30+ free throws because NBA.com has already them at 4-0 against us :

The refs definitely influenced this game, but they're not responsible for us getting outscored 56-41 in the second half.

Yes they are responsible for that.  That "flagrant" on BBD followed by Doc's ejection along with other awful calls absolutely sucked the life out of this team tonight.  They weren't the same team after that sequence.
We were still up 6 points at this point, and decided to subsequently toss the game for some reason. Great way to react to adversity.

Salvatore needs to be a WWE ref.  That was his calling.

WWE Refs > NBA Refs

True.  At least they're honest about how they do their jobs.

We are Hulk Hogan, and the Hawks are the Ultimate Warrior.

In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Hawks have a grudge against the C's that's why they play with more motivation against us. That Jamal Crawford signing was genius.

Yeh, our own fault, that bid. Have to agree.

Also, it *was* a flagrant. Wrapping someones neck = flagrant. Period. (imo)

Shame on the Celtics, then, for not having the mental toughness to deal with adversity.  If they can't bounce back from bad calls -- to the tune of putting up lousy offensive and defensive efforts over an entire half -- then there's no way this team will win a title.

I'll just chalk it up to "one of those games", especially without KG and Rasheed in there.  I simply can't accept that the Celtics are that weak-minded.

When a team performs terribly on both ends for 24 minutes, I find it hard to blame the refs for the entirety of the loss.  The Celtics have to have some accountability, as well.

Joe Johnson talking about the Hawks big win on NBA TV how disappointing ---

Now maybe some of the blind optimists see why the worries existed after the first half.  It was painfully obvious that the C's were dominating the game but only up 9.  The Hawks were playing poorly and there was no way the C's would keep up their torrid shooting.

As expected the shooting cooled off, the turnovers kept piling up and the C's wound up blowing another huge lead.  AFter seeing it so often this year it's obvious that it's not a fluke thing --- this Celtic team regularly blows huge leads and lets teams back in the game.

0-3 against the Hawks.  Make no mistake Doc, Pierce and the team wanted this win badly tonight.  Very rare that when the C's are determined that they still fail to come out on top.  Not looking good after another failure down the stretch to win a game...
