Im not saying the celtics have been playing perfect, but there were at least ten points of calls against the celtics over the second and in particular 3rd quarter. The refs had a major impact on the game and I really believe we would have a significant advantage right now if the game had been called more reasonably. Would our turnovers in the 4th maybe have turned a 13 point game into an 8 or 6 point one at this point? Probably. The point is we should not have lost had a 10 point swing for the refs...

Horford needs to give up that dribble earlier. He's developing some bad habits dribbling off of defensive rebounds.

Him and Noah had licenses to lead fast breaks at Florida and they let it get to their heads.  Baby occasionally falls prey to the same delusions.

And no call on Baby!!!
All ball. Seriously. Rewind it. Good call. You try going up in the air (with no lift at all) while someone is holding the ball you are holding: you'll topple backwards. Looked horrible, but Baby has been bad lately at getting to the hoop.

Hope everyone with DVR goes back and watches this game again to get the proper perspective.

Have the C's gotten robbed on a few calls tonight?  Absolutely but that happens in the NBA.

The biggest call of the game was CLEARLY a flagrant foul on Big Baby.  Doc overreacting then Armond Hill is no ones fault but theirs.

Great teams overcome bad calls.  The C's have played with so much determination tonight it would be a shame to lose this one.  The Hawks cannot be allowed to gain even more of an edge on the C's they simply have to step up and win tonight...
bring back the "taketh one" button!
He's got a few solid points actually.

We're stinking it up a bit right now, even though the momentum was really killed there on that flagrant.

No denying the Hawks took the momentum good point.  I think people got so caught up in the refs that they forgot the flagrant foul sequence and resulting technicals was called correctly.

That was no flagrant!!

Does Thibs realize ther are guys on the bench?

this is an important game for the Celtics.

You can't play old guys for an entire half. Especially on a back to back. Right now, what you are seeing, are tired legs.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

The Celtics have either lost their focus or are tired since that flagrant foul but the Hawks are just in a great position to win the game. I want to puke.

Kiorrik > indeed, good call after I've seen the replay.

Even Rondo looked tired on that last sequence. I would have expected him to try and run up and strip josh smith from behind normally.

Does anyone else realize why Doc was so upset resulting in an ejection.

Besides the bad calls it's the pressure of this game  --- Doc no doubt realizes how big this game is against the upstart Hawks.  He sees how vitally important it is for the C's to gain back an edge on this team.

C's outside shots not dropping anymore but they keep taking them instead of going inside...

Turnover, turnover, turnover --- 18 Celtics turnovers already leading to 19 Hawks points.

Can't blame that on the REFS can we????
We are also shooting shooting 62.7%, shooting 60% from three, outrebounding the Hawks by 9, holding their two of their three best scorers in check and playing against a completely healthy team when severely shorthanded by injury.

Sorry, just wanted to post some facts!!!!!

The game is getting a little sloppy here. Rondo needs to calm everyone down and try to control the tempo.

I think it was.  They only showed a good angle from the replay once, but Baby definitely wrapped him up around the neck with his off hand while going for the ball with his right.
Yup

So you want to to see House playing Point, or Tony shooting 3's. Our Bench right now is nonexistent.
