  • Thank you Eddie!
The Celtics have absolutely self destructed AGAIN in the 3rd quarter.  They have turned the ball over repeatedly, played poor defense and got rattled by the officials.  An incredible first half has been totally wiped away.

C's shot over 75% for the quarter and still gave the lead away.  What a shame to allow the Hawks gain even more confidence against the Celtics which can only help them in a potential playoff matchup.

Pitiful 3rd quarter once again...

Where the hell were you during that BS sequence where the refs basically gave 7 pts to the Hawks and tossed Doc after that awful call on BBD?  I've seen them on off nights and this ain't an off night.  It's IMPOSSIBLE to shoot 75% from the field in a quarter and blow a 10 point lead  in the NBA without the refs' help.

Free throws in the 3rd quarter :

Hawks 11 (6 in a row at a stretch)
Celtics 4

Yet the C's have attacked the basket one possession out of two...
It happens, you have to win anyways.

Just like game 6 of the Detroit series in 2008.

Doc overreacted to that flagrant call, in part because the C's weren't getting the calls earlier, but those Ts hurt.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

Ahh, great example. That was the game where the same Salvatore called a charge on Pierce for doing his normal shooting motion while hitting a 3. We dug in and overcame.

Hope everyone with DVR goes back and watches this game again to get the proper perspective.

Have the C's gotten robbed on a few calls tonight?  Absolutely but that happens in the NBA.

The biggest call of the game was CLEARLY a flagrant foul on Big Baby.  Doc overreacting then Armond Hill is no ones fault but theirs.

Great teams overcome bad calls.  The C's have played with so much determination tonight it would be a shame to lose this one.  The Hawks cannot be allowed to gain even more of an edge on the C's they simply have to step up and win tonight...

Evans is the only Hawk who gets called for fouls tonight... actually the Hawks can only get called for fouls if Evans is playing.

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
Even the whistles for us seem late and awkward.  This crew is really off tonight.

Woohoo for Big Baby
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I'm sorry for being negative, but why do we pass the ball to Perk when he is not wide open for a dunk?

He's got a few solid points actually.

We're stinking it up a bit right now, even though the momentum was really killed there on that flagrant.
