All great matchups. Watching Dirk go vs Tim Duncan now.

I can't call him Timmy. He's a ... ugh. I hate Tim Duncan.

Congrats vinnie, you called it. They lost.

But they did get back into this and this was a game until those offensive rebounds by Smith and Horford with 2 minutes left.

That NO Call when Bibby fouled Rondo really got our heads out of this game....C's gotta do better keeping their cool.

I'm not worried about a round with the Hawks in the playoffs yet. However, Crawford does worry me a lot. I mean, he killed us in the 4th quarter both games and he was well defended this time. We did a good job on the boards tonight except at the end... it hurts, as the missed opportunities, missed freebies and stupid turnovers do, but that's it.

I hate to lose when the startes play 40 minutes a piece though. Makes me feel mad.

Credit to the Hawks though, they hang on and won the game.

We can get our revenge on Monday but on a back to back when they will have the day before off, I don't like our chances.

TP's for all and good night!

True. Looks like refs can get us out of the game by just messing with some obvious calls.

Believe me, I did not want them to lose. Just saw the flow of the game. And if you look way back in the thread, I called the game a Hawks win in the first quarter when Scal (The Anti-Gino) entered the game

If I were a fan watching the Cavs pregame show, I'd want to toss a large drink at them.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Btw, I dare contest the "third quarter was awful" statement.

Our D was okayish. Our O was okayish, we just didn't make a single shot. That was bad. We got open looks, lot's of them. I agree that we should've switched to going to the hoop, instead of hurling it from beyond the arc, but it wasn't as bad as the score makes it look. 23% Is just a fluke.

If I have to lay blame for this game it's with the two oldest guys on the team that played, Rasheed and Ray. Rasheed played a lazy, lazy game and Ray was just awful shooting the ball and played really bad defense.

Overall though it was that third quarter performance which was listless. Almost like they were tired/injured and then stiffened up during halftime when they cooled down. As an entire team!!!
