Also glad that there was little negativity in the thread tonight, even under duress. Was very enjoyable in here tonight. Helps when we pull it out at the end.

There were 2 times when I thought we were close to being done. Doc's teams never give up.

Great, great win. Awesome. Terrific comeback.

Boston won by 6 points, yet Miami took 98 shots to 67 (!!!) and grabbed 17 offensive rebounds to 5 (!!!).

Ray and Rondo were huge in the 4th and in OT. Sheed had a great game too, I think you're right jdpapa when you say he plays better as a starter. He was on fire from 3, keep it up Sheed!

Definitely should have been an easier win and more rest for the starters but we got great drama, great plays, and Rondo just got his ticket for the ASG. :)

TP's to all!

Gutty win by a tough team.  Not the best-played game but we got it done.  And Rondo truly stepped up tonight.  Going to bed happy.  :)

Solid defense there GAME OVER...

Lots of concerns linger with this team struggling to hold onto leads and finish games.  The positives are that Ray once again hit clutch shots and Rondo played like an All Star.  Running the offense through Rondo works so much better in crunch time than having Pierce hold the ball on isolation plays.  Hopefully tonights effort reinforces that and shows Pierce and Doc that he can still get shots with monopolizing the ball down the stretch.
How can you the second the game is over, especially this game and the way they came back, instantly start talking about lingering concerns and problems??

I don't get it. Great win. Great comeback. Great final 11 minutes of the game for this team.

Miracle finishes against barely .500 teams doesn't erase the problems this team has right now does it?  The rampant turnovers, blown leads and poor crunch time execution doesn't go away simply by winning a game sorry...

No, but KG, Quis and Eddie don't come back by being a downer either.

I'll take a sloppy game win to a sloppy game loss any day of the week. It's one thing that differentiates a good team from a great team.

Absolutely.  The team easily could have folded, but instead kept fighting.

woow,what a game it was,it had everything...

Rondo made an all-star statement tonight,I think everybody saw that...

Ray was so clutch,he kept us in the game with some huge buckets...he has such a killer instict!!I dont blame him for that turnover, although it would have possibly cost us the game...

Perkins and Wallace played well for the biggest part of the game!

Pierce was a little affected by the injury and made some stupid choices and turnovers but he made a perfect back door pass to Rondo and that was huge!Hope he gets back to full speed mode after 4-5 games...

Great game overall, it was fun to watch...goodnight everyone!

Seriously, the stats of this game are incredible, I can't get over it. ;D

I know we would all be complaining about it if we had lost this one but we didn't thanks to incredible clutch plays and a lot of heart and hustle from our team.

I mean... 98 shots to 67 for Miami, 17 to 5 offensive boards for Miami, and 24 turnovers to 11 for Boston, and yet we win by 6! :P

With that said I'm going to bed now, at 5:00 am in the morning. Won't be fresh tomorrow but at least the gutsy win made this night very cool. :)

Now let's all hope beyond hope that the Clips can knock off the Lakers and put a great cap on the night.

I know Wade went off tonight, but when Ray guarded him, I thought Ray played him and limited him as well as any player I have seen limit Wade when he is hot in a long long time.

Unheralded and not talked about much will be Rays defense on Wade in that overtime. I thought it was terrific.
