I would love to see the Pats win this for Wes. He deserves the win for injuring himself in a most innocuous, non contact type play.

Can anyone else already hear Polian gloating in Indianapolis about the Welker injury being the reason why he forced Caldwell to rest his stars last week. I'ld love to see the Pats knock off the Colts with a Julian Edelman TD being the difference in the game.

whats up guys. I am not getting coverage of the pats game.

Im happy that brady is out of the game. did they mention anything about the severity of Welker's injury?

I hope they lose this game, im watching the steelers game, and i don't want them making the playoffs

Edelman looks good (as he did at the start of the season).  Brady getting some time with him is good, but feels a bit like 'fools gold' to me.  Edelman looks like Welker, Jr., but he can't be expected to draw as much attention as Welker -- which changes the balance.  Defenses will give Edelman his catches rather than leave Moss in 1 on 1 coverage.  The dilemma defenses face when Welker and Moss are out there is diminished.  Not meant as a knock on a surprisingly good-looking rookie (Edelman)...but he is not Welker.  Really disappointing.

Will be nice to get a good win on the road, if the Pats hang on.

With that said, I'll scream if everything breaks the Steelers way and they end up in the playoffs (possibly as the Pats 1st round opponent).  They should have been out of contention 2 weeks ago but for bungling all around the AFC.  So far, the Steelers are getting all they need. The 4:15 games will be interesting.  Unfortunately, it's going to come down to the Jets or Steelers getting in -- I would have loved to have rooted for the Bengals this afternoon, now I think I'll be indifferent.

They haven't announced how serious it is, but they took him off on the wagon ... usually not a good sign when he can put no pressure or weight on it.

It looked season ending. He hobbled off the field, was looked at and started swearing into a towel and then started crying his eyes out.

thanks Bahku, appreciate the reply.

that sucks, hope its not as serious as it looks. hopefully he can join the team, even if it is late in the playoffs if the pats advance

Haha! Sorry, Bud ... I actually thought it would be another "ghost" thread, so I didn't even sign on at the hospital, (even though it was very quiet). Now I'm home and the phone won't stop ringing! Good to see you, too! (TP) Hope we can hang on here.
