OK, first of all I want to say that I'm not creating this thread as an "Doom! We're done, KG is hurt!" thread but I just want to know what you feel and think about the staff's statements about KG's injury.
So, after KG was announced out for 10 days, it has been announced that he will be out 10 more days :
"KG's still 10 days, maybe, I don't know," said Rivers. "I have no idea, I honestly don't. There is some history with hyperextended knees that we kind of know that it takes at least two weeks, sometimes three. We know it won't be longer than that, but we don't know how quickly. There's a history there -- not with [Garnett] -- but with league history."
We all remember that last year, what was at first a minor injury kept him sidelined for more and more time. Doc would always give a date of return - usually short - and then explain that KG was out longer than expected but that everything was OK.
That's why I'm worried about these last statements because they sure look a lot like last year's. And the "I don't know" part is Doc's quote is scary if you ask me, since he could really say, in 10 days, that KG is out longer, and so on...
So, knowing that none of us has insights on KG's situation, do you think the staff is just being extremely cautious with KG - and maybe paranoid - (and thus honest in its statements) or are they hiding the truth from the fans like last year?
