On the subject of TA I'd like to point out one other thing: I was at tonight's game, and he almost tore his ACL AGAIN after his dunk. He came down on one leg, just like he did in 2006 on that after the whistle dunk. He was soooo close to coming down in the wrong way and having his knee absorb it. Luckily, the energy of the landing was transferred to his hip. Seriously. Thank god. it would suck so much if he went down AGAIN.
saw that and winced myself, no reason for the off balance (look at me i'm dr j) dunk
he is a bone head but i'll give him credit, he did a nice enough job as pg
if tony could give us relatively mistake free minutes at THREE posistions and defend and get offensive rebounds then I'd keep him around
giddens is all I expected him to be  :-\
I think hudson has the tools to be effective but probably not help us much this year, like his jumper and speed
Hinrich by the way is one of the guys I'd LOVE to see here, take over both backup guards spots

Tony has been very judicious this year with his dunks, usually just laying it in.  Let the guy do a monster dunk once in a while and energize the building, jeez....
So many negatives in various threads after a great win.

I believe Lester Hudson could probably fit that point guard role as back-up, but Doc is too much in his ear. He's thinking too much and not playing.

I like Lester Hudson; as he matures as a player, he won't have as much of Doc in his ear.

We all love the player Rajon Rondo has become -- we all used to complain Doc was in his ear too much.  At some point, can we credit Doc with Rajon's improvement?

To the OP's mention of Kirk Hinrich -- I would love that guy on this team.  He would be a great backup 1 and 2 (ie: he would solve both the problems the OP mentions).
Yeah Hudson had some bad defensive plays that lead to easy shots and bad turnovers. Of course Doc is going to get on him about those, that's what coaches do!

If we're going to make a trade Kirk Hinrich would probably be my first choice unless another need crops up.

I didn't see any defensive lapses by Hudson. I'm not sure which plays you are talking about. One of his TO's looked bad, but I thought that was because Shelden Williams stopped dead short in the lane.

Hinrich and his 9 mill are one of the worst contracts in the league right now to be honest.
