I don't think BBD's strong play has been unnoticed at all. He's just only played in four games total, including tonight.

Yeah, I went too far with "unnoticed" but he has been great in every game. Hustling on every play, getting offensive rebounds, finishing his plays - great offensive moves -. He is a little bit lost on D sometimes and struggles with his shot but he's been great and brings a lot of energy everytime.

Baby is what he is...and I love it!
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

You think he should have conceded the open dunk instead?
Apparently...

Flopping doesn't work in the NBA often especially for scrubs.  He could have actually tried to keep the man in front of him and go for the block but Scal isn't athletic enough for that.
Wait so he should have tried to make a play beyond his athletic ability, which would have resulted in an easy dunk/layup?

You have a warped perception of how a player should defend the fastbreak. If you can avoid fouling and challenge the shot that's all well and good. But when you're beat you have to make the other team earn it at the charity stripe.
Maybe you weren't watching the play but there were 3 Celtics back on that fast break so there was no need to make a desperation attempt at drawing a charge.  But you are right Scal doesn't have the athletic ability to defend which is why he flops/reaches in so often.
The other Celtics weren't in a position to stop the man with the ball from going straight to the basket.

As for whether or not I was watching the game, that's a strange attempt to counter my argument, accusing me of not watching a game when I've been posting in this thread the entire game....

Relax there genius I wasn't accusing you of anything I merely said MAYBE you weren't watching the play that's all.  Maybe means possibly as in maybe you went to get a drink or walk the dog.

Doc, Lester was playing well. Play the hot man.
