I dont know what you guys think but to me this trade is a must

Celtics Get:
Randolph
Maggetie
Watson

Warriors Get:
Scal
Davis
T.Allen
Hudson
Giddens
Walker

The C's are going after someone in free agency this year anyways but im not sure they're sure they'll land anyone because we won't have enough money to offer a huge contract! wether its Joe Johnson or whoever is out there they want big money!

A guy like Corey Maggetie whos very underated in this league is a must on an old team like the Celtics! Why? simple he gets to the free throw line almost 7 times a game! despite that he grabs rebounds, shoots a high percentage, and is flat out scorer! he'll give both Ray and Paul the rest they need!

Randolph makes this team younger, lets face it Davis is a backup in this league at best! yes hes a good player but this guy is loaded with potential! and he can turn into something special, the worst he can be is Lamar Odom which is still not bad!

Watson? backup PG and a very good one too! for that price you dont get a solid backup like that! so basically the C's get younger, more talented, and dont have to worry about going after anyone this summer cause they got a scorer in his prime! and i do prefer guys that get to the line over jump shooters! specially on a team that doesnt get there that much

That'd be great, but, in general, 6 for 3 trades don't happen.  Not sure GS couldn't get a better offer in a 3 for 3 anyway.

So let's see here, a 6 for 3 trade where we send out our crud (BBD and the newly rejuvenated TA not withstanding) for 3 players that can contribute.  ::)

Exactly why does Golden State make this deal?  Just because they've got nothing better to do than to pad the C's bench?

Any chance you checked if the salaries could match before slapping together this pipedream of a trade?

  • Rondo = Good
So I guess you must believe the Warriors aren't just phenomenally stupid but actually mentally retarded?
