Rondo the only guy who came to play in this second half. He's trying to will this team back into shape. Love the leadership qualities he is showing right now.

Agreed. Right when people started to question his effort after that extension, he has turned it on and arguably been the best player on the team. This kid is really, really great.

18 points in a quarter against the worst defensive team in the NBA. Again, mind-boggling.

Warriors, Bucks, Suns... to the trivia question? Probably not, but it sounds right to me.

hawks might be there (st. louis)

Ohhhhh... good one. I know they played them at least once. I don't know if they played them more than once. That could very well be one though.

Just got home and turned the game on -- unfortunately it's exactly what I thought after last nights collapse.  C's would lose another big lead and be in a tight game against a horrible team.

Listening to some excuses people make on here I had to go check some stats.  The C's are missing Paul Pierce but still have 4 starters from their 2008 Title team, and 3 possible All Stars including 2 future Hall of Famers on the floor.  They are playing an 8-21 team that is one of the worst in the NBA even worse than the Clippers.

Their are simply no excuses to be once again struggling against the dregs of the NBA but here the C's are fighting for their lives tonight...

I would say The Warriors are better than their record. They have some guys who can play. Ellis, Randolph obviously. Radmanovic, Turiaf is a good hustle player, Watson can D up as being seen tonight. Not Mikki Moore.

Of course they are better than their record. That makes it easier to swallow if the C's lose to an 8-21 team.

I didn't say that as simply a teaspoon of sugar to help the medicine go down. Have you watched them play this year? They have some good players and in a Nelson system there are always players who outplay their averages on any given night. They have a few legit scorers, D-stoppers, role players that can shine. Watching them this year they have played much better than their record has shown.

All I know is that they have won 8 games. That says enough for me. I suppose the 76'ers were also much better than their record when they beat the Celts at home.

Fine, but with a young team, and a young Don Nelson coached team at that, the record does not always reflect the talent as is the case with this Warriors team from what I have watched this year. It isn't 20 games but I have watched a more than a handfull as they are a fun team to watch and from what I have seen they on any night have the capability of being better than their 8 wins would have you think.

Hey guys,

just checking in to say that this entire game has been a pile of horsecrap - from every angle and every perspective. Everything is terrible. Energy, ball control, reffing, defense, communication...all unbelievably crappy.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Rondo needs a slap in the face by either the Refs or the opponents to get fired up. That's what he's always like. Remember when he was taken down during the Bulls game?

Who's supposed to be guarding Ellis?

We are in a 2/3 zone against a great shooting team??
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I guess he has something to prove after the last game
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

C's offense is on pace for a whopping 100 points against a horrid defensive team yikes.

After scoring 35 first quarter points they have scored 41 in TWO full quarters since.  Any spin you put on it that is deplorable offense for any team much less the Celtics playing against one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA.

C's now with 22 turnovers beautiful execution.  This team is self destructing here against the GS Warriors WOW WOW WOW what a shock.

How about "law of averages".

Law of averages would dictate no way the C's would lose 2 straight years to the Clippers and Warriors, two of the worst teams in the NBA right???

If that isn't a foul I don't know what is.

As I suggested earlier. In order for this team to regain its winning ways, maybe Rondo can simply play 48 minutes every game the rest of the season. And thank God Scal is coming back into the game. Awesome. Scal is the man.
