Celtics (23-6) at Warriors (8-21) 12/28

Just got home and turned the game on -- unfortunately it's exactly what I thought after last nights collapse.  C's would lose another big lead and be in a tight game against a horrible team.  

Listening to some excuses people make on here I had to go check some stats.  The C's are missing Paul Pierce but still have 4 starters from their 2008 Title team, and 3 possible All Stars including 2 future Hall of Famers on the floor.  They are playing an 8-21 team that is one of the worst in the NBA even worse than the Clippers.

Their are simply no excuses to be once again struggling against the dregs of the NBA but here the C's are fighting for their lives tonight...

I would say The Warriors are better than their record. They have some guys who can play. Ellis, Randolph obviously. Radmanovic, Turiaf is a good hustle player, Watson can D up as being seen tonight. Not Mikki Moore.

Of course they are better than their record. That makes it easier to swallow if the C's lose to an 8-21 team.

Not a fan of the negativity, but KG is nowhere near healthy right now and Paul Pierce was the Finals MVP.

Well I guess it's just a matter of perspective.  Injuries happen in the NBA.  If you don't feel the C's are capable of beating the NBA's worst teams without being at full strength then that's OK.   I don't think most people would agree with that however.  Remember these are the 8-21 Warriors geez

I didn't say that as simply a teaspoon of sugar to help the medicine go down. Have you watched them play this year? They have some good players and in a Nelson system there are always players who outplay their averages on any given night. They have a few legit scorers, D-stoppers, role players that can shine. Watching them this year they have played much better than their record has shown.

All I know is that they have won 8 games. That says enough for me. I suppose the 76'ers were also much better than their record when they beat the Celts at home.
