I can't help repeat myself. How the hell does a team get up 18 points on the Warriors and blow that lead in 14 minutes? It is just unbelievable. I can understand this happening to bad teams, but the Celtics.

Our backup sf is Brian Scalabrine and our starter is Tony Allen. That's how. Also, as a handicapper, GSW isn't a team you fade at home.

I would much rather see Bill Walker on the court than an out-of-shape guy who can't grab a rebound or do anything on offense.

Our backup sf does not have to be Brian Scalabrine. It is just Doc's stubborn ways that makes that so. As for GS, they are 8-21 and either 5-8 or 5-9 at home. No excuses.
Would you be so kind as to explain this. Exactly who is supposed to be this team's backup SF when Daniels and Pierce are injured?

I would much rather see Bill Walker on the court than an out-of-shape guy who can't grab a rebound or do anything on offense.

That's where we differ. Walker is useless defensively and clueless offensively. Scal maybe be low on NBA talent but he is a competent perimeter defender of less athletic SFs and mobile PFs and he knows where he's supposed to be and what to do on offense, even if he doesn't do it well sometimes.

Then Scal is not a shooting forward, just a plain forward by your description. Bill IS a SF.
Yeah, I really horrible SF. Scal might not be a pure SF but he's better at it than Walker.

Just got home and turned the game on -- unfortunately it's exactly what I thought after last nights collapse.  C's would lose another big lead and be in a tight game against a horrible team.

Listening to some excuses people make on here I had to go check some stats.  The C's are missing Paul Pierce but still have 4 starters from their 2008 Title team, and 3 possible All Stars including 2 future Hall of Famers on the floor.  They are playing an 8-21 team that is one of the worst in the NBA even worse than the Clippers.

Their are simply no excuses to be once again struggling against the dregs of the NBA but here the C's are fighting for their lives tonight...

Someone is going to have to explain that offensive foul on Rondo to me. I can't see that that can be called an offensive foul at all. That just might be one of the worst fouls I have ever seen called.

Well, it was on KG for theoretically holding/impeding Radmanovich's progress. Still as shady as you think ;)

I think Doc might counter this run with Scals. :'(

Not a fan of the negativity, but KG is nowhere near healthy right now and Paul Pierce was the Finals MVP.

Randolph dominating the Celtics now it's absolutely pitiful to watch.  Somehow the C's have turned an 18 point lead into a 5 point deficit.

Definite cause for concern --- C's came out tonight intent on blowing out the Warriors to atone for last nights debacle.  They gave it their best shot but once again couldn't finish.  Now they are staring at the possibility of losing back to back games against 2 of the NBA's worst teams.

PITIFUL

Celtics, simply put, suck in this building. 5 straight losses looking like a sixth and against some pretty bad Warrior teams too. Yikes.

I would say The Warriors are better than their record. They have some guys who can play. Ellis, Randolph obviously. Radmanovic, Turiaf is a good hustle player, Watson can D up as being seen tonight. Not Mikki Moore.

Ok I;m letting Rad's night influence that but in a NElson system there is always a guy that can outplay his numbers any night.

And tonight the Celts have turned Radmonovic, another NBA retread/stiff into a rebounding monster. Just sad to watch.

The team is just gassed tonight, absolutely no life so far this half. TA looks like he can barely make it up and down the court, Rondo is bringing it in spurts, Ray doesnt have nearly the energy he had in the first half. Got bad TA tonight, but i honestly think its more about his conditioning, he isnt trying to do too much just looks 2 steps slow.

Gotta tough through it, will not be easy though.

Just  wanted to say that wasn't on Rondo, but KG, probably a push in the back...although I don't think I saw it. : \

Anyways....our energy is pathetic right now. We tried harder against the Magic because of they are. That's fine, until you start playing teams like the Clippers and Warriors for the same reason.
