Boston: Ray Allen, Tony Allen
New York: Gallinari, Curry, Jeffries

I read on RealGM that a trade like this "would be" a Celtics Fans dream. Is it real?
I am italian, so i would like to see Gallinari in a Celtics uniform, but i think that the experience and the leadership of Ray Allen will be more important in "this" year play off than the "athletic freshness" of Gallinari. For the future it would be great for us. So, present or future?

P.S. i think that New York will never accept a trade like this for Gallinari....

I think someone is playing a trick on you if they said this would be a 'Celtics fans dream' unfortunately federico. Gallinari could be a solid player, but this trade is a Laugher.

I think you probably read the comment or article wrong. A trade like this would be a dream trade scenario for the Knicks, not the Celtics. The Knicks would dearly love to get rid of the Curry and Jeffries contracts for expiring contracts so that they would have the ability to sign two max level free agents next year. Dumping Curry and Jeffries for two expiring contracts like the Allen boys from Boston makes it possible for the Knicks to sign LeBron AND Bosh next summer. Giving up Gallinari would be a minor inconvenience for the Knicks if it meant they could have the opportunity to put Wade, Johnson, lebron or Bosh in a New York uniform.

Well, if you took out Jeffries and Curry and put in David Lee and Duhon, I might consider it.  But that trade doesn't work under the CBA.

"Trading a career of Gallinari to erase one year of Curry or Jeffries is a Celtics' fan fantasy that Walsh would not even remotely consider"

Here is were i read of the fantasy... and how i said i'm not for this trade even if Gallinari is italian.

I considered this one briefly, and it would certainly be much better in the long term. But it doesn't guarantee we'll contend someday. And we're guaranteed to contend this year. And you can't throw that opportunity away unless its for a definite young player.

And gallinari has been hurt.

Really? It's there, 4th paragraph from the bottom.

I'd do this deal if I were the Cs as long as I was assured there's nothing wrong with Gallinari's back. He seems more agile recently, driving more, going for some blocks, but I have yet to see him posting up, which was his go-to move and defending lower.

There's 0% Walsh does this. I can't blame him, way too risky.
