Amount of Rondo triple-doubles over the next 2 weeks?

I think he will have at least two triple doubles with Paul down. My line of thinking is that with Paul out, Rondo is surely going to have to shoulder much more of the offensive burden. Plus, the games will likely be closer (I don't see too many blowouts with the captain out) and he will be playing extended minutes, allowing him to grab more boards. So I think he will have 2 over the time that Paul is out. What do you guys think?

Hmmm...  I'll say 1.

There's been a major drought in triple doubles this year in the NBA.

Only a few that I can think of.

I'll say 1 or 2.

But he's only barely missed 2 triple doubles this season - both by 1 rebound, so who knows. But I do def think Rondo will step up considerably with Paul out.

For whatever reason, Rajon hasn't been crashing the boards very hard at all this season.  With Pierce, one of our better defensive rebounders, out, Rondo might feel the urge to get back in the scrum for defensive boards.  If so, I could definitely see multiple triple-doubles.  His double doubles are almost routine at this point.

Well, no Pierce, no BBD, no Marquia and potentially no KG. That means a lot of minutes for Rondo. He's gonna be making this team go over the next two weeks. I say he steps up and gets himself 3  triple doubles.

Triple doubles?  I don't know if he'll have any, and I don't really care if he even gets one.  The most important thing is that he steps up and that he steps up big time.  We're going to need a play maker that is a constant threat with Pierce out and Rondo may be the best equipped to take on that roll.

He'll hit double figures in points and rebounds but will miss on the assists with PP out.  Scal and TA won't be making the buckets like Pierce.

I'd guess 1 triple double with two that come 1 or 2 rebounds or assists short.

Hopefully none due to KG averaging a double double over the next couple of weeks.  I don't see much of drop off in regards to assists though but, his scoring will probably go up a few points.

zero..i expect we get what we have been getting from rondo...dont think he will spike in production like he did last season
