Hopefully none. I want Rondo focusing on pushing the ball and getting out on the break. We will be lacking in half court sets as Pierce is our best halfcourt player. To augment this, we really need to get out and run with whoever is in be it Tony Bill Dubs... heck even Giddens. If Rondo is crashing the defensive boards he is not looking for outlet passes and that means slow tempo game. We can get through this stretch but Doc will defeintely have to adjust his offensive game plan to suit a new SF in Pierce's place.

none.

He'll hit double figures in points and rebounds but will miss on the assists with PP out.  Scal and TA won't be making the buckets like Pierce.

Rondo seems to get most of his assists off of Ray, KG and Perk.  Pierce creates a lot of his own offense.

What was he last game? 2-12?
I have no doubt he'll shoot a better percentage.  I think that with Scal and TA being the primary subs for PP, they won't hit from outside like PP does so his assists will be down.  He'll make up for the offensive production by scoring more.

I will be happy if while Pierce is out, the wins during that time is triple the losses during said time frame.

Probably zero (although he might get one against Golden State or Phoenix as those will be high tempo games). Rondo's "weakness" as far as getting a triple double this year has been getting enough rebounds - he hasn't reached double figures in rebounds yet this year. On the other hand, he has had plenty of double doubles with points/assists. If he was having trouble getting triple doubles due to either points or assists then the absence of Pierce would help him reach those categories as he will have the ball in his hands more and will get more shots up. But TA should give us similar production as Pierce in terms of rebounding.

Yeah, I think so as well, Rondo will get great lines, but he will fall short for a trp-dbl, just like 3-4 times this season.

It's hard to say... there are a lot of factors these next 2 weeks that are conducive for triple-doubles, such as all star game considerations, a couple of nationally televised games, playing against Nash, heavy minutes, and KG possibly being out which leaves Rondo with more rebounds to get. At the same time, those are things that can leave a player distracted and unfocused.

i think he will have 2.

points and assists wont be a problem even though PP gets a lot of buckets for him. KG and Ray will make up for the shots.

its just the rebounds im not sure about

dude i don't care at all as long as we win.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Probably 1 but I'm willing to bet on 5-6 triple nickels and probably 1 quadruple nickel.

OK, should we rephrase the question: "How many triple-doubles will Rondo have over the next two weeks that lead directly to Celtics victories?"

Bonus question:  "How many triple doubles will he have in losses?"
Yup

Without PP "giving the game what it needs" I doubt there will be any Rondo trip dubs for a losing effort.

I'm wondering "how many 20+ performances are ahead of us with Rondo stepping up on the scoring?"
