I am so sick of how far degraded the standard has become for charges.  Getting set, before your man leaves the floor and not moving, is so hard, it should only happen a fraction of the time.  The refs are handing out charges like candy in general these days, and especially this game.  Watch the replays, is the defender set, BEFORE the offensive player leaves the ground?  If not, it cannot be a charge, charges should only happen less than 10% of the time on drives because of how difficult physically it is to accomplish this.  Unfortunately, it has become the sexy call of the league.

That was never the rule or the standard. If it was, games would be lay-up drills. The defensive player can move at will, he can't move into the space of the offensive player, that's all. A guy can perfectly get a charge while moving his feet.

Wrong.  I never said anything about moving one's feet.  I am specifically talking about when a player is driving and a defender moves underneath him as he is going up.  The rule is that position must be established before the offensive player leaves his feet, it cannot happen after that.  If the burden is not for the defense to have position in order for it to be a charge, what is it?

KG doesn't even want the wide open shot what is going on here.

C's should be up 20 right now easily with this defense but they are running horrible offense right now.

Orlando don't use Vince Carter enough as a passer/playmaker. Their offense isn't as diverse as it could be.

They should go big with Ryan Anderson at the four and Lewis at the three. See if those matchups are more favourable for them.
