Rondo is at least trying --- he is being too aggressive but it's better than what anyone else is doing on offense.  If KG or Ray step up and score then things will look much better.

Again this team has shown ZERO ability to score consistently against this Magic team.  Putrid offense no matter who is on the floor.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Rondo's definitely playing differently with no PP.

In a good way or a badway?

Good question.  I didn't see the first 5 minutes of the game, but what I've seen since seems pretty forced on offense.

I don't think it has anything to do with Pierce's absence, his decision making always goes down versus Orlando.

Dwight is a big stop sign in the middle of the lane. The Magic don't pull extra defenders to the paint when it's Rondo versus Howard, they just wait on the pass. This is my observations from previous games against the Magic.

Contested how? Because there's a player between him and the basket? I haven't seen even a hand in his face, let alone any decent defense on him.
Are we really watching the same game?

Just because Carter creates "separation" by falling backwards doesn't make the shot uncontested. Or good, for that matter. Scal's doing just fine.

Yeah, we must be watching different games, cuz Scal's next to useless ... on both ends.

Celtics vs Magic, ABC, Christmas Day?

Exactly.

Nice run. Up 5.

Rondo is playing excellent, those stats cited don't even come close to telling the story.

And, I'm watching the game in which Scal played decent defense  ;)

I'm telling you, it's been a long time since we defended that well!

Magic gets few open shots and misses them. Howard is useless against Perk, his kryptonite. Keep it up C's and extend the lead!

I think you can be "too aggressive" esp. with Rondo. You want him being aggressive, if he's pushing the ball well, we play better overall. We need him to step up today and he's def trying.

Lots of crappy reffing are distorting the boxscore imo.
