I was just trying to come up with estimate for how many  days I've lived and couldn't find the calculator on my computer.  So I typed in "41 times 365" on Google and gave me an instant answer.

Obviously not a mindbendingly fantastic app, but I still thought it was pretty cool.

I've used Google maps airplane view before which is kinda cool.  Anyone have have any suggestions for cool stuff to check out?
Yup

I don't know about the google airplane view...that sounds pretty cool.  I can see my car in my driveway with the street view in google maps.

google.com/books is interesting.  I haven't poked around there too much but they have a ton of books you can just read at any time.  All sorts of classics and stuff.  I've also heard that google wave is cool...it's like a chat room type thing, i think.  Haven't used that yet either, but hear it's cool.  Of course, if you're not on gmail, you need to get it.  It's the greatest email ever...

I love google.

Google wave is hard to use right now. and im not really sure where they are going with it but im sure someone will find something that will make it awesome. because right now its just an instant messenger service that you can add apps into.
"Sam Cassell was heckling on the sideline when I walked down, He looked at me and was like, ‘You're getting the ball, I know you're getting the ball!'
said Allen.

And did Cassell, a man of many words, have anything to say after that?

"No, I told him he needed to wear a tie."

You can go to google.com and enter "231 australian dollars to euro", or "21 feet to meters" etc too.

There's lots of stuff like that :)

Yeh, I know.  I was just being a combination of lazy and curious. (not that the other option would have caused a hernia or anything, it's just that I'm used to using a keyboard button option and the laptop I was using diodn't have one...have I mentioned it's not easy being me?  ::) )
Yup

haha i understand.

Google Calendar is also pretty sweet. I was looking to set up a calendar for our church website, and came across Google's. You can embed it in a website, and the changes you make are instantly updated.
