did sheed help....hell no.  however the loss isnt on his shoulders.  plain and simple, we should have been able to win without him against the sixers!

o learn to keep his mouth shut, but we are a better team than the sixers without Sheed and with them having AI. Saying we lost because of Sheed is an excuse ... Pierce was off, Ray was off, KG was lukewarm, the rotations were bizarre ... EVERYONE had a hand in this loss, and THAT'S where the blame lies.

Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

For all people complaining about sheed's techinicals and propensity for 3 point shots...what did people expect when we signed him? that he'd become a different person than he was for the last 10 years?

Yeah, really ... I'm not surprised in the least ... to paraphrase: "That's just Sheed being Sheed."

So Sheed hurt us? Or the refs? Both?

At least Kobe's not complaining about the refs after the Milwaukee game.

Sheed is our 6th man for petes sake. He needs, imho, to be disciplined by the team for this one.  A moving pick call leads him to be ejected?

Sheed needs to realize we are going for a Championship here.

Absolutely, SA (TP) ... while this typical "Sheed" behavior doesn't surprise me at all, it's time for him to grow up and get control of his emotions. This was the main reason I cringed when I heard about his acquisition ... I thought the Big Three would keep it under control, but it's obvious that Sheed's ego is more important to him than his team-mates ... as usual. That said, this loss is on the WHOLE team ... not just Sheed.

I blame tonights game on four people...

#1 Doc Rivers = Horrible coaching tonight ::) Honestly the game turning point was when Doc subbed out Tony Allen for Paul Pierce. Don't know why Doc did the subb, because Tony was playing great and we didn't see him on the floor after that. He also Benched the starters for too long, and the decided to put them back in when the lead was down to 1.

#2 Rajon Rondo = only 13pts & 10ast on a Jrue Holiday ??? Also 4TO's? (Rajon needs to learn that he has to show up every game. He can't decide to show up when a Chris Paul, Deron Williams or Derrick Rose is the opponent)

#3 Paul Pierce = Defensively he can't match with AI9. Whenever AI9 is being guarded by Pierce AI9 scores at will. Pierce's defense tonight and every other night that he plays AI9 always sucks!

#4 Rasheed Wallace = WE would've won easily if he continued to play, but his non-presence really hurt the 2nd team, Kendrick Perkins and Kevin Garnett. If Glen Davis was activated tonight Sheed's dismissal wouldn't be a problem, but he wasn't so it was...lol

#5 @ Home...lol The Celtics need not to play games @ home. The way we're playing @ home have me hoping we lose enough games to just land the 8th seed in the playoffs...lol We're terrible @ home. G-Nite!

WE Want Posey Back!!! ;D

I know we did not play well down the stretch.  Frankly, we seemed to sleep walk much of the second half. But it is games like these, when the starters lose their cohesion, that we need Rasheed to spark things off the bench? Where was he? Oh, he had a temper tantrum during a time out in the first half, after dominating inside in limited minutes, and got tossed for the night. What a selfish baby. Everyone thinks they get jobbed by the refs. But 99% of the players play through the perceived injustice. Guess Big Baby was on the floor tonight, at least for the first half.  Grow up, Rasheed. Put your team before your personal petulence.

I understand your anger with sheed here footey, i share it, but extrapolating that to the starters somehow blowing a 11 huge lead 2 quarters after he left might be the most baselss logic leap of the year.

Sheed didn't help matters one bit, but this loss is nowhere near on him.

I agree that's Sheed. He's definitely not going to change for the better at this point. We'll just have to hope the good overweighs the negatives at the end of the day.

Sheed has got to be my least favorite Celtic, possibly ever. It's really hard to cheer for a guy who behaves like a whiny two year old. And it's even worse because he's so important, so needed. I don't think he cost us this particular game, but it seems likely his actions will cost us points and perhaps games in the playoffs. And for what? Just so that he can shoot his mouth off some more? I think everyone gets it dude - you're p---ed. Can you just shut up and play?

The Celts have had some horrible players over the years, but it's always been fun to still cheer them on and hope they could be successful. With Sheed, it's like the opposite - I'd kind of like to see him fail. But I still want the team to win. He makes it hard to be a fan.

Sheed had nothing with losing this game, I think Paul went on cruise control and played like we were up by 40 or something.
The officials took the game over by making horrible calls and then trying to compensate by making even worse calls to a point to they or anyone else didn't know weather they were making a bad call or compensating :S

Not sure that knock on Rondo is as fair as it was earlier in the season.  He's been pretty spectacular of late.  The team just won 11 games in a row where he was consistently excellent, and not every opponent had a star point guard.
