I agree with a lot of what cons said.  Sheed was my least favortite player in the whole league before we got him.  I hate that he's on my favorite team.  I also kind of root against him.  He's a loser and he's not good enough anymore to justify putting up with his crap.  If you guys are upset over this, just wait until he pulls somthing like this in an important playoff game.

I know we did not play well down the stretch.  Frankly, we seemed to sleep walk much of the second half. But it is games like these, when the starters lose their cohesion, that we need Rasheed to spark things off the bench? Where was he? Oh, he had a temper tantrum during a time out in the first half, after dominating inside in limited minutes, and got tossed for the night. What a selfish baby. Everyone thinks they get jobbed by the refs. But 99% of the players play through the perceived injustice. Guess Big Baby was on the floor tonight, at least for the first half.  Grow up, Rasheed. Put your team before your personal petulence.

I understand your anger with sheed here footey, i share it, but extrapolating that to the starters somehow blowing a 11 huge lead 2 quarters after he left might be the most baselss logic leap of the year.

Sheed didn't help matters one bit, but this loss is nowhere near on him.

I did not say that Sheed's ejection caused the indifferent play in the second half by the team including the first unit. My point is that there will be nights when the first unit just does not have focus (like last night) and we need Sheed to pick things up off the bench to get us going.

the STARTERS blew the big lead.....was sheed's actions dumb?? yes...but boston was in firm control after he was ejected...the starters blew the 15 point lead...then doc's stupid rotation of scal, sheldon, house, TA and rondo compounded the problems.

When they win, they win as a team, when they lose, they lose as a team ... this is no different, this is on all of them: players, coaches, and officials.

Well, we're going to have to put up with this type of BS behavior for a while now....I just hate any kind of behavior that doesn't put the team above oneself.....

He could have at least waited until Big Baby was back...

I'm not saying he caused the loss.....I'm saying he made it harder to win.

you know, in the end Sheed does have to learn how to control his temper, but man THE GUY CAN'T PICK HIS NOSE WITHOUT GETTING WHISTLED FOR A TECH!!!!  I know he hasn't helped his cause because i'm pretty sure he has a bad history with every ref in the league, but jeez man.

This argument goes both ways.  He yaps and glares so much that they end up ignoring a huge chunk of it.  As Charles Barkely put it, "Sheed is a pain in the ass....."

I can't think of any player like this on the Celts. I was never a huge fan.

He has really been contributing lately especially in the post.

How can you root for our 6th man to fail? Even if it's not rooting for him to fail, you will at least feel satisfied if he does screw up.

I think Sheed really needs to cut down his techs. Hopefully he is working on it. I am rooting for him to get better personally.

BBD is scheduled to return on Jan.2,according to DA...maybe we will see some consistency from the bench. My biggest problem w/Sheed is inconsistency, you never no which Sheed is showing up from night to night.

If you remember back in the championship season consistency was one of the things the bench brought to the table. From night to night you knew what Posey,Powe,PJ,House was going to give 90%of the time.In order to win in the end your bench has to be as consistent with what they bring throughout the playoffs as the starters. At this point Sheed scares me when i think of what he might do or not do come playoff time.

i think when BBD returns, we will see more of him and sheldon together if needed instead of Scal

I think Doc will try that lineup, I'm not sure how it will work out.

BBD has struggled a lot when forced to chase perimeter 4s around. Especially since he lacks the length to contest most jumpers.

i think the injury to Daniels has really messed up the bench rotations that Doc wanted to use...esp on defense.

100% agree, Doc really liked Daniels out there as a defender that he could trust.

He even had Ray riding pine for a couple of close games for that very reason. Now Tony has to fill that role....

yeah...eddie is really struggling when he has to guard the bigger 2 guard...ray is a good defender but Daniels had so much length...they really need him back ASAP

Ray is not a good defender. He gives good effort but he's an old man by NBA standards and lacks the tools to do much more than he is doing now.

I'm telling myself that last nights loss was just one of those games every team has in the NBA. You can't stay on your win streaks forever after all....
