I know we did not play well down the stretch.  Frankly, we seemed to sleep walk much of the second half. But it is games like these, when the starters lose their cohesion, that we need Rasheed to spark things off the bench? Where was he? Oh, he had a temper tantrum during a time out in the first half, after dominating inside in limited minutes, and got tossed for the night. What a selfish baby. Everyone thinks they get jobbed by the refs. But 99% of the players play through the perceived injustice. Guess Big Baby was on the floor tonight, at least for the first half.  Grow up, Rasheed. Put your team before your personal petulence.

Had he stayed in the game, people would have blamed him for attempting too many threes... yeah, really your fault, Sheed. No link whatsoever with a lack of execution, missed layups, poor rebounding, no passing game in the 3rd and 4th quarters.

Wallace's ejection certainly didn't help matters tonight.  We're already without Daniels, Wallace's ejection just thinned us out more.

I don't blame the loss on Sheed, but I am absolutely sick of his immaturity. Grow up, Rasheed. It's going to be real fun when he starts getting suspended for games when he reaches the magic number for T's. No excuse for the way he acts. None.

maybe  he wants to  sit out a few games.  The coaching staff is asking him to play offense in the post lol.   How many more does he need?

So should we expect that Rasheed will be suspended for at least one game for his actions tonight?

in the immortal words of one charlie scott - circa 1977 .......... "he's not a Celtic" !!!!

(at the time he was referring to sidney wicks at practice - but the reference is just as accurate tonite)
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

You got more of a chance finding this in your backyard, than what you asked for. ;)

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

sorry but blame Sheed all you want, but the loss was a combo of bad ref calls and lack of effort. First half of the 4th quarter was the bench so our starters had enough time to rest and pull it together to close it out in the last 7 minutes. Instead, they played half effort ball and then in the last 2 minutes, Ray jacks up a contested jumper, bricks it, and KG misses his signature sideline J. Pierce should have given the ball to KG in the post instead of running down the clock for a bad shot. Crappy loss, but that's what happens when the stars don't shine.
Can't stop, Rondo!

I don't think you and I should be allowed to do consecutive posts.

did sheed help....hell no.  however the loss isnt on his shoulders.  plain and simple, we should have been able to win without him against the sixers!

I agree, DL ... Sheed needs to learn to keep his mouth shut, but we are a better team than the sixers without Sheed and with them having AI. Saying we lost because of Sheed is an excuse ... Pierce was off, Ray was off, KG was lukewarm, the rotations were bizarre ... EVERYONE had a hand in this loss, and THAT'S where the blame lies.
