They are supposedly life threatening injuries and the Planet Mikey show actually said he has died, but it seems thats a fake report from someone who made a fake twitter, responsible reporting EEI. He is/was a talented as hell receiver, injuries and off field trouble have always held him back, but he hasnt got in trouble since the Bengals broguht him back.

Quote
CHARLOTTE - Bengals WR Chris Henry was involved in a serious accident and suffered serious head injuries on Wednesday in Charlotte after what police are describing as a “domestic situation” between the fifth-year player and his fiancé, Loleini Tonga

Wow....that's terrible news.  Hopefully, he'll be alright.

He's had his ups and downs but it really seemed like he was getting things together recently.

Here is a report from Foxsports, not good news if true.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry is on life support after falling out of the back of a pickup truck in North Carolina, a source has told FOXSports.com's Alex Marvez. The source described the situation as "dire."

So I'm assuming that Twitter account was the fake one?

Yup, if you look at the tweets before this Chris Henry stuff none of it had to do with sports. Just someone wanting some attention, not cool.

Yep.  Deadspin had linked to it, and later confirmed it was a fake.

Chris Henry has died according to Sportscenter. Sucks especially since he was just about to get married and a week before christmas.

That is really unfortunate.  He was incredibly talented.  He helped me fantasy team too last season.  My thoughts and prayers go to his family.  RIP Henry.

From everything I read he was really turning his life around. Some things in life just aren't fair.

The whole thing sounds pretty senseless.  It will be interesting to see if the fiancee is charged with some sort of homicide, or whether instead this is deemed self-defense.
