Schintzius.  1998-1999, I know.  But he was just the definition of bad.  Here's a mock mix I did for him back in the day:

Worst player each year

2000 - Pervis Ellison
2001 - Jerome Moiso
2002 - Joseph Forte
2003 - Kedrick Brown/Bruno Sundov
2004 - Kedrick Brown/Jumaine Jones
2005 - Tom Gugliatta
2006 - Orien Greene
2007 - Michael Olowakandi

Of players that were on the team for at least three straight seasons the worst players in my opinion were

Brian Scalabrine - first first three year
Kendrick Perkins - his first three years
Kedrick Brown
Mark Blount
Joseph Forte

PG: George Hill, Ty Lawson
SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D
PF: Zach Randolph, Kenyon Martin, Jon Brockman, Dante Cunningham
C:  Nene Hilario,   Own rights: Nikola Pekovic IR: Kyle Weaver

I LOVED Jiri Welsch.

Wasn't it fashionable around these parts to mention Jiri Welsch's name in the same sentence as John Havlicek in the fall of '03?

yeah, for about a week.  then his game fell like a rock...  He looked like a steal for Danny, then just fell apart entirely.

none of those 4 should make the list...  it's not about players you disdain the most, but the worst players.  none of those 4 guys were at the bottom.  blount did make a contribution to this team, and vin baker had his moments.  mike james was reliable and payton was a nice backup.

Sorry for kicking a never dying horse...

But some of the players named here were quite good or at least ok when they played for us.
Gary Payton, Jiri Welsch, and Brian Scalabrine comes to mind, yes even Mark Blount had "one" single season of glory (or whatever).

These are horrible though.....
1. Michael "Yogi" Stewart - "Hollinger" named the fight-out between him (in ATL) and Rafael Araujo (in TOR) as the millenia match-up betweeen most incompetent and unworthy centers ever. Not that Hollinger is that trustworthy, but his statistics speak for himself;

17 games, 0.3 ppg and 0.6 rpg during 4 minutes per game. (citing: http://www.celticslife.com/2010/03/what-hell-happened-tomichael-stewart.html)Read the article: its good stuff.

2. Dan "The Chair" Dickau, a so-called point guard, heh someone mention Orien Greene as a bad player, but remember this guy was our mid-level exception signing that season to fill the starting position at PG. Heh first he was injured, but then he quickly established himself at the bottom of the bench. I remember him as a nervous small rail-thing little guy, always a step late, with low skills in handling, passing and shooting. The standing joke around here then was that he couldn't defend a chair... And I'll sign that in a heartbeat.

//Cheers Everyone!

Chris Mihm.  Joe Forte.

I hold no ill will towards Kedrick Brown, the guy worked pretty hard to try and develop a jumper and was a reliable defender.  Hate Chris Wallace for drafting him so high.

Joe Forte is different.  I think he had the tools and the talent to at the very least live up to a 20+ draft selection.  Unfortunately the guys is nuts, had no focus, and no priorities.
