I don't have any problems in general either. What I think is laughable is how Chicago, and their fans, made the whole series about that one play. In fact, the foul Rondo committed on Miller was not called a flagrant at the time, nor was deemed that after lengthy review by the league afterward. Miller was streaking down the lane for the game tying hoop and Rondo took a desperation swipe to try to prevent an easy layup. It was all reactionary and instinctive. Catching him across the mouth rather than the ball and wrist/forearm which is where Rondo swiped, was a product of him being 6'1" and Miller being 6'10". He simply could not get to the height of the ball. Miller whined as did the Bulls fans incessantly that somehow Rondo was headhunting, it was cheap, on and on and on, which was all not deemed to be the case by the league.
Therefore, there really was nothing to retaliate for in my opinion. Miller being the 6'10" guy already standing in the lane, waiting for the guard coming at him, is a completely different situation. He took Rondo down purposefully, and again, they called a flagrant, so no big deal or need for further retaliation. I just find it embarrassing for Miller, the Bulls and their fans that they even felt there was anything to retaliate for in the first place. Miller admitted as much through his quotes.
