for a team that is having trouble with rebounding, Shelden should obviously be playing in place of Brian Scalabrine. I know that Marquis is out and that's the argument to play Scal as a small 4, but it really makes no sense to me because Scal is very frustrating to watch IMO. Shelden may be undersized but he is by far and away our best "big man" off the bench (sorry Sheed, get down in the paint and then we can talk)
No, no, and sadly, again no.
We've been having exactly the same problems with rebounding when Williams was playing, so his presence doesn't seem to solve anything.
The fact something doesn't make sense to you doesn't mean it's wrong.
Rasheed defends opposing PFs and C. This makes him a big man. I don't quite see how anyone in their right mind can make the argument that Shelden Williams is the best big man off our bench. He's fifth-string when everyone is healthy, so expect more DNP-CDs in the future.
