Bos Sends:  TA, Giddens , 2ND Round pick or Cash

Lac Sends: Butler

I think Butler would be a great, cheap solution for the C'S at the wing. He has playoff experience, is a pretty good offensive player and a solid defender. He is also 6'7 so he has the ability to play both SG and SF, which would help keep Ray's and PP's mins down.

37% field goal percentage, 27% on 3's.  Not what I'd call a pretty good offensive player.  He'd have to have pretty good defense to make up for that; if he could hit the 3 I'd be a bit more excited by the prospect.

He's also currently playing significant minutes (28 mpg) for the Clippers, which speaks to their lack of depth more than anything else.  Do you really think they trade him to us to get a little bit of extra cap space, considering they'll be getting little to no usable talent in return?
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

Well he is a career 36.6% 3 point shooter which is pretty good, much better than Daniels, he is just off to a slow start this year. Plus with Gordon back for the clippers his mins are going to be much less. Of course he's not a great shooter, but what do you expect out of a SG off the bench making 4 mil?

I am pretty sure we could put together a reasonable trade to get him here. Plus all he would have to do on this team is play solid D and hit the occasional open jumper.
