He will probably hit a shot after I type this, but for the last 2-3 weeks, Eddie House and been less than worthless. I am really worried about this bench.

Deep breaths.  The bench will be fine, and Eddie was 7-for-14 from three (50%) in the four games prior to the Bucks game, where he struggled slightly (1-for-4 from three, 1-for-7 overall).

Another foul against Williams not called.

I think that was Eric Lewis, but I am only 90% sure re: the Pierce no-call by the guy looking right at the play.

Rondo has had an excellent offensive game, but on the defensive end, Arenas has been open all night. As for House, with him on the floor, the Celts are playing 4 on 5. Honestly, at this point I would rather see Tony Allen with Rondo if Doc is not going to have Ray in the game.

scal no play time..doc feel he cant run with the brothas?

I wish we could combine him and Shelden into one player. Scal can't get any rebounds and Shelden can't guard on the perimeter at all.

nick tryin to doctor frankinstien scals brain in tony's body...if that dont werk out we will go with your plan

Whoever it is he must be Tim Donaghy's real good friend.

I would like to know how many of those threes were during garbage time. I would guess several.

For all the complaints about the bench, got to give it to them, they really have had an overall good good game. All of them. Yes, even Tony!!

We've been OK at the line tonight, but the misses have been painful ones.

I'll always cheer them on, but when they disappoint me I'm gonna call them on it. And when things are going badly for the team because of a specific player I'm not gonna be too happy with that player, much less have faith.

TP for acting like a grown-up.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Hopefully this game will quiet down the TA haters for awhile. A couple of turnovers, but he is playing great D on Butler and has 8 points I believe.
Won't keep me quiet...he's a brain dead basketball player having a decent night. For every good play, he has a bad one.

So I guess he can't ever do anything right? Hopefully he fills in well for Quisy and most of the haters will quiet down.

You act as if the hate is unwarranted. He can do things right, but the problem is how many things he does wrong. He has a long history of inconsistency and making the "dumb play" and because he had one of the good games his type is destined to have, you seem to think it should "shut up the haters"?

When do people ever address that he does have good games? All I hear is that he is "brain dead" a "terrible basketball player" "awful" etc etc. I don't think saying those things are really fair. Yes he's inconsistent but that doesn't mean that he can't help us out in some games. He is a bench player and will be filling the void of another injured bench player (a person more fragile than TA himself). What do people want out of him? He's like a 10th 11th 12th man. If Bill Walker was doing what TA is doing tonight people would be wetting their pants

I just did. TA has great games. He has great streaks where he gets well into the teens for 5 or 6 games at a time. But he doesn't do it consistently and the reason is because he's kinda brain dead when it comes to basketball. I think it inspires a particularly adverse reaction because he's got everything it takes physically to be a star. But when he plays bad, man, he looks like he doesn't belong in the D-League.

By the way, a 10th, 11th, or 12th man just isn't a great player in the NBA. They're the kind that should really only get much run in big foul games or in case of injury. So it's not surprising that a lot of people are unhappy to see him.

If Walker or co. did so well, yeah, people would be happy because it would be a rookie that people expect to develop. Tony...we're passed that point. Different standards for different stages.

Yeah you did so there's one person I guess. I'm not saying Tony is a great player- far from it. I am saying that he could be a decent 10th 11th 12th guy off the bench. I don't see what is so absurd with that. That is my whole point.

No steps there by Arenas.
