Zach Randolph was a beast in this one. Memphis wins 111-109. Zach is a winner, and Iverson is a loser.

Saying Zach Randolph is a winner is like saying WNBA players can play in the NBA. Have you guys seen his rap sheet? Dude deserves heavy years behind bars. He literally has a rap sheet longer than Manute Bol to qoute my avatar. haha

Thank you.  Anybody that disses Zach Randolph gets TP's from me.

The Memphis play by play guys love him. Apparently he's going out of his way to just be one of the guys. Going to team charity events with only the rookies and whatnot. Also, he's averaging 18/9 while not dominating the ball whatsoever. Maybe he's turned a corner.

No doubt he's a 'better than good' player, but from what I saw, he's had multiple DUI's, Weapon possession, Sexual Assault, Battery and plenty worse crimes. Just about were all dropped By the way.

Well...

he's pretty dirty. So lets focus on the here and now, and the future to come.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

It seems to me that LeBron has the most success when he's allowed to get a running start from halfcourt to the hole.  By the time he hits the defense he's going fullspeed, and nobody wants to get run over by a train - Paul Pierce is the only one I've seen who consistently has the balls to take one in the chest.  That toughness is probably the reason Paul gives him more problems than anybody else I've seen.

When he tries to just outquick his opponent from the arc, though, there are a few more SF's in the league who can stay with him.  Gerald Wallace has had success against him this year.  Rudy Gay is another one of them, and it showed tonight - LeBron went off in the first half, but Rudy came about as close as you can to shutting him down from the third quarter on.

I'm not even sure that I have a point.  Maybe just reiterating that Mike Brown is wasting LeBron's abilities by forcing him into a halfcourt offense - if he was in an uptempo system where he could get a head of steam on more drives to the hoop, he might average 40 a game.

I don't know, you guys figure it out.  Why did I just type that?  ???

Nothing to figure out.  Lebron playing this way and losing is fine with me! ;D

Bron should be in Phoenix, with Stoudamire and Nash. That would be insane.

Your point is that the Cs should try to sign Rudy Gay in the offseason.

Watched the whole game, I live just south of Memphis, The Grizz played amazing defense in the second half especially Rudy Gay who made Lebron's life miserable. james hit a couple impossible threes but other than those it was the worst I've seen LeBron look since the 08 semis and its all due to rudy's D.

That is what the Memphis radio man was saying as I tuned in for the last 8 minutes of the game. Rudy Gay has come into his own.

Sounds good to me.

Cavs forced the ball into Shaq way too much which effectively killed their offense.  Only 2 assists in the 4th qtr and OT total.  Terrible.

Delonte was lost as well and Moon was out which was killer for the Cavs defense.

Also the stand around and watch Lebron game came back into play.  That is always bad news for the Cavs

I hope the Grizzlies danced all over the court after the win. ;D

well, the arena was going nuts.  I was impressed with how vocal the fans were.  Should be an interesting environment for the Celtics

Haddadi set a normal screen, literally not moving, that knocked Lebron to the ground. Of course it was called an offensive foul and was a 5 pt swing for the Cavs (they got an and 1 on the ensuing offensive possession) I just thought it was interesting because I was curious to see if the refs would handle the Iranian player with some malice, be it consciously or subconsciously. Obviously, it was just one example and was a young player vs. Lebron and Lebron gets that call more often than not, but it is still a situation I wanted to keep my eye on.
