Mike James wants out of Washington as he is NOT playing.  I think that he could be a nice back up PG for us.  His assist-TO ratio is adequate.  He does shoot a low % from the floor, but is solid from long range and from the FT line.  It would likely have to be tweaked, as the Wiz have 16 players already.  I am sure that they could waive at least one guy already of their roster and they would likely buy out Scals quickly.

Thoughts??  We do need a back up PG.  Has that been addressed before:-))))??

I thinks the Wizards could get more for a $6.4 million expiring contract.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I like Mike James, but his shot selection is terrible. I would take Mike James in a 3 way trade that would get us a backup SF as well, b/c trading all our expirings for 1 backup PG doesn't make sense. Fit a 3rd team in with a SF, get KG's permission since he played with James in Minny, and sign me up.
Can't stop, Rondo!

Not a bad player, but he's declining, House is a little better and they're too small to play together, so he'd just be riding the pine here.  If Scal can be moved, I'd prefer he be moved for a bigger, more athletic combo guard like Keyon Dooling who could actually play passable defense on 2-guards.
