God I hope he gets into a fight with Big Ben so the C's can get the best record in the league. This guy is going to bring down the Lakers!

Wait wait wait, he's drinking cognac at halftime?  That is a) crazy b) insulting to the Bulls c) bad for his team d) a punishable offense in the NBA or e)Should be all of the above?

Seriously, there HAS to be some sort of rule against this... right?

More important:

Quote
On the Rockets' loss to the Lakers in the 2009 Western Conference semifinals: "(Referee) Joey Crawford basically said, 'Who cares about the Houston Rockets? Kobe Bryant is on the floor.'"

If that's true. wow

I don't know if I believe that. It says Joey Crawford basically said "Who cares about the Houston Rockets? Kobe Bryant is on the floor." . It is probably just his crazy thoughts .

wow!  I don't know what to say.  He's being honest, but wow.  I think its pretty incredible how he seems to be trying to be a distraction for the team.

Everyone should pretend to ingore him so he does something really outragious.

Like start a Laker vs. Cavs brawl.

Lebron vs. Kobe.   Bare knuckle boxing.  Expext a sneak Shaq Attack.

Its not the crazy speaking, it is just him saying that he thought Kobe was getting superstar treatment.  The same thing is said daily in these forums.

He never said Crawford actually said that, it was just a figure of speech to imply that is what he thought Crawford was thinking.

What a spot he has put Crawford in.

"Do I call a foul in favor of the Lakers because Kobe is on the floor or do I call a foul in favor of the other team because Artest is on the floor?"

His antics really do seem rather attention starved.  BTW, have you guys seen that he's averaging 55% from the FT line this year.  I never realized he was such an awful free throw shooter.  That could definitely come back to haunt them.

Seriously though, what would happen if everyone just started ignoring Artest.  He would go crazy (or even crazier I guess) from the lack of interest in him.  I guess nothing should surprise us anymore when it comes to Artest.
