Clearly this defense needs another year of maturing and a speed pass rusher off the corner. Whether that's a 4-3 DL or a 3-4 OLB, I don't care, but they desperately need one.

Well, it is supposed to be a "rebuilding year." Yes, I know I'm reaching.

Time to mute the television until the second half...just can't stand the sound of Chris berman's voice any longer, never mind the look of him or his stupid "whoop".

That gets a BIG TP, Nick ... the guy drives me nuts!! (Could ... go ... all ... the ... way! UGH!!) Have to owe you ... gave one a bit ago ;)

Make that 2 TPs. I can't stand Berman.

The Pats could come back to win this game, but that still doesn't make them a "Super Bowl" team. Their defense is not that great, overrated. Look at the teams that have beaten, not much to brag about...

The Patriots look like a weak team out there.

I think we just have to face it that this year at least the Patriots are not a truly elite team.  We can beat the heck out of lesser teams, but when we face good opponents, we're going to lose.  The only decent team we've beaten all year is the Ravens and that was only because Mark Clayton dropped a pass he would've caught 99 times out of 100.

I wouldn't be giving up on our team but we have been notoriously bad in the second half for pretty much this whole season.  We're one of the worst teams in the league scoring in the third quarter.  I won't be surprised if we get shut out on our opening drive of the half and then the Saints score a touchdown as soon as they get it.

The Pats will have to come out as a completely different team in order to have a chance at this game.

Wow ... that brings back memories, Redz ... my kids used to love that movie and always made me do the Jack Nicholson "Air-Conditioner" impression at bedtime ... "So you think you're special cuz you can move around all the time?" ;)

This is a 10-0 team we are facing who are at home with exhuberant Monday night crowd.  I wouldn't throw the Pats out of the mix based on this 1st half.  True they didn't beat the Colts 2 weeks ago, but I do think they showed they belong on the same field.   Tonight may prove to be a blowout and a statement game for NO, but it ain't over yet.

But, like Nick, I think I make an attempt to sleep if it goes to 31-10.
