I don't hold a pot bust against the guy personally, but understand why that might keep him on the outside of the NBA, especially since with his injury history, he'd be on the fringe of a roster to begin with. I was glad to get to see him play with the C's in a preseason game in Manchester a while back. He definitely still has the ability to play...
I have to give a TP to any team (like the C's, Pacers, and Blazers) who refuses to roster players who can't stay out of trouble, i.e. no guns, drugs, or unsavory combinations (stripclubs and guns, guns and drugs, etc.).
Playing in the NBA is and should be a priviledge.
