I think "drama", as such, is just a part of the business of professional sports, and every player, coach, owner, fan, reporter, and other type of person connected with it, is guilty at one time or another, of falling victim to emotional response or action and aformentioned "drama" and ill behavior, albeit to varying levels.
Have we had more than our share in Boston? Most likely so, as it is without question the home to more success in professional sports than any other city in history ... and I think that just comes with the territory, unfortunately. But we are New Englanders, and a hearty group ... I think we can handle a primadonna or two from time-to-time.
If we're a bit desensitized to it, well then we'll just consider that a small payment for all the success we've had.
