How so?  It certainly doesn't affect their ability to have cap space.  The only thing it affects is the luxury tax...which certainly is important, but they can get around, if they think he will help.

No i don't think he should be losing strength as time goes on.  And even if this were the case, the way to stop him from continuing to lose strength would be to sit him down.

Because KG needs to shoot better than 4-15. He's also supposed to be our best player, he should be better than Perkins.

I agree.  Right now, I'd say Pierce is playing way better than KG, and I'd be willing to say Perk is playing better D (at least way more consistent D).

I don't disagree with that.  But I guess if you look at it like Nocioni is your MLE pickup next year, then its kind of a wash.  And Nocioni is likely better than many of the options with the MLE next year.
