I hope no one is going to get too excited with a 2-point overtime win against one of the worst teams in the NBA. That was a pathetic performance.

i agree. yet.... i can still smile since it is a win and by the end of the season all wins count the same.

i couldnt watch the game, would some one BRIEFLY sum up celtic performances for me please.

i can see from the box score that kg, allen, and wallace shot combined something awful such as 7 for 36. just terrible.

And that's exactly my point; how often is that really going to happen?  And it's not an age thing.  All three of those guys will be able to hit shots when they're 70.

KG hit a shot!  It was a great shot no doubt but let's look at the reality of this team right now ---

The well rested C's needed OT to beat a terrible Knicks team.  KG was limping noticeable for the latter part of the game and can't stay in front of his man or grab rebounds.  The team doesn't play solid defense anymore for entire games, only brief stretches.  On offense they play well for stretches but too often stand around in slow motion until the clock winds down.

This team is in trouble...

Yeah, pretty much exactly.

It wasn't pretty... hell it was downright hideous, but a win is a win. This team has a lot of work to do.

Agreed. I know I shouldn't be excited about this win but at least the KG buzzer beater made its end beautiful. I mean, we were on the verge of losing to the KNICKS.

This team has shown that it can be as great as it was. But it seems that this excellence appears only in stretches and spurts. A lot of work to do, indeed.

But I liked some changes tonight : Doc didn't hesitate to bench Sheed the whole OT (except for the final) and the 4th quarter because he played poorly, and went back to Perk. We finally executed down the stretch instead of folding. Sure, we struggled to get stops in OT but there was a stretch when we did stop them on every possession but didn't score on ours.

Anyway, this win is still enjoyable, thanks to KG's buzzer beater. I hope he is OK since he has been limping at a time in the end.

TP's for you all, after this almost heartbreaking game. ;D

It's not all going to come together immediately for this team. KG still looks pretty bad coming off his injury and Sheed is in a horrible slump. Teams don't just stroll through the season with no rough stretches. The regular season could very well be an up and down one for this team but it's the playoffs that count. No need to be so negative after KG hits a buzzer beater for a Cs victory. A win's a win, and we're just going to have to accept that fact that a portion of the regular season games are going to be pretty ugly ones. Let's just enjoy the win.

Well. it's a win and that's all that counts. How bad does KG look? Just a regular limp or does this look like something new??

This team needs to get a little streak going to get some momentum. They've been so up and down lately. They need to string a few together..

See, I'm hoping we carry on being crap until 3/4ths of the season, and then turn it on to even it all out again, and just hit RIDICULOUS amounts of shots.

I really do.

But I know it's poo and it will not happen like that :P

KG's limp looked new to me. It happened after he went up for an alley oop that msised and them came down hard on his right leg. I honestly am worried by what I saw.

Of all the things he did today (14pts, 10 assists, 9 rebounds, 4 steals, only 2 TO's - Ray had 2 alone in a 10 second stretch), why focus on the negative?

I'm not saying that everything's perfect (though they did keep a D'Antoni team to 103 points in an overtime game).  I'm simply saying that some of the problems we have will fix themselves.  There aren't going to be too many games when Sheed, Ray, and KG shoot a combined 7 for 36.

I also question how much they really care about regular season games.  I'm not sure I'm on board with that, but they wouldn't be the first championship team that didn't put everything they had into the regular season.
