He looks really, really good playing with the second unit. Defensively, he's lost a step, period. Joe Johnson, Iguodala, Ben Gordon, etc. would smoke him like a salmon in a series at this point.
I like the 3 wing rotation of Quisy, Paul, and Ray, but Quisy should be getting more minutes there defending the #1 opposing scorer. This is what we give up without a backup PG...
Still, there's no saying Ray or Quisy will be back next year, and given how many teams will be looking to make a big FA signing, what their price will be. We could end up with a window of just this year, since we'd only have the MLE to spend in a summer of big spenders to replace both of them. So it would make sense to trade for the right package of rotation guys that will be A) in their prime, and B)signed through KG's last year.
Not a trade machine guy, but I'd imagine the Wizards, Bobcats, Detriot, and Milwaukee might be worth talking to.
I'd still take a chance on keeping both Ray and Quisy, but switching roles, if they both expressed wanting to do it at around the right money.
