Everone needs to stop over reacting and be sensible...  It's been 15 games... YEAH THE TEAM LOOKS COMPLETELY AWFUL RIGHT NOW... but what about the first 6 games... by the way did I tell you it's been only 15 games... Quite frankly I don't remember when they started giving out the Larry O'Brien trophy in November.

13 games actually

Thx... Redz... I can't count... For some reason I was thinking 9+4=15 lol.

For all you people that said waht if Iverson was on this team and it was the 4th quarter in a close game he was on the bench and then the follow day he decides to quit...lol I'm laughing @ you!!! :D :D :D :D :D What did Doc do in tonight's game???? yup yup yup. Rondo hurts the team offense and so does Eddie, but Eddie is a better fit because he will "shoot" when open. Iverson belongs here I keep saying it. Doc will play Iverson a lot of minutes because he could produce and play 2 positions. Rondo is 1 dimensional, Eddie is 1 dimensional. SHEEEDDDD FOR 3HREEEE = BRICK!!!! ??? ??? ??? ???. I said it before and i'll say it again... The celtics will never win another championship without James Posey back here or unless we sign a guy like Allen Iverson. Defense Defense Great Defense yes wins championships, but you need Great offense also to win (The Phoenix Suns proved my point when they beat us. Great offense beats great defense anyday). Right now the C's defense is good, not great and their offense is poor not even good. I'm surprised the game was even close... >:( >:( >:( WE WANT IVERSON!!!

I've changed my mind.  I'm all for bringing Iverson in.  Unlike Rondo, he can hit a shot once in awhile.

This team is doomed anyway, so what does it matter?

LOL Giving you a tp for that one. but its true. whats the worse that could happen? if A.I. don't fit in then just cut'em that simple like the Grizz did. Bring him on and try him out. I rather him here as a possible steal than him being on another contending team and being their steal.

Everone needs to stop over reacting and be sensible...  It's been 15 games... it's not overreacting imo, this team looks indeed awful and that's not how contenders look like!!
we never played that bad on our championship year...
we never played that bad last year, even during our losing streak we had shown some signs of hope and we were on the road after all...

our offensive plays are a tragedy, our defensive hustle as well...
we have played 13 games, fatigue is not a factor yet...
it's not that we lose, its how we lose...
btw we are playing, I think that if we weren't "THE CELTICS",we would be like 3-10 right now...

it's not a panic button,it's reality,it's something we should face,we have to recognize when the losses are a matter of bad luck or sloppiness and when they are outcome of playing anti-basketball,this is not basketball...

How is it not a panic... It's been 13 games... All the regular season matters is for playoff seading. Veterans win in this league guys... No team loses to another team just because of the name on their jersey so your argument that if we weren't the Celtics is completely ridiculous... This is the NBA WHERE THE BEST BASKETBALL PLAYERS IN THE WORLD PLAY!... No team is going to lose to another just cuz of the other teams name.

Oh and give me a break albas89... Like no team that has ever won the championship has had a bad stretch during the regular season.

why take so many threes?

Maybe the truth is we are so old that we can't bang inside no more. Most of our points are of the finesse variety and its pathetic.

KG is killing me by staying on the outside and shooting short jumpers over and over again instead of using his dribbling skills to get layups. Al Jefferson for what he was worth never stood shy to score inside and C/pf's should be scoring most of their pts that way, get 2nd rebounds, battle inside

I don't like kobe bryant much but at least he has the guts/balls to get nitty gritty when you need to put the game in your hand and get the points/stops

My ranting or critism about our team thus far is probably over the top and basically most of our key guys are old in nba stds. (we won it two years ago whereas some teams have never won a championship so something worthwhile came from trading all of the young players in our team but something had to give)

Everyone needs to realize that the season is a marathon not a sprint... Don't you guys all remember how good we all felt after the 27-2 start last season... the team sure played great (sarcasm) after the loss against the Lakers and on that road trip... Every one thought we were going to easily win it all last season but even with KG it would have been tough... What I'm trying to say is how every one was on such a high after the 27-2 start and then how the season turned out... And right now we're 9-4 and no body thinks we can turn it around and start playing excellent ball.  All the users here need to start using some common sense here!

This assessment is sport on. Everyday we are looking more and more like the Spurs, who all, besides Duncan, stand outside the 3pt line and jack up threes all game.

Where was the offense tonight? No matter who shot the ball, we couldn't throw it in the ocean.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
The problem is we get off to extremely slow starts and we can't hit the ocean from the 3-pt line. Those are things that should improve and if they don't, then maybe we should worry, but right now, I just don't get what people's problems are. Once the team gets in sync better, then Rondo will play at his potential, as well, but unlike most, I do not think he has been 'horrible'. How is he supposed to push the ball if nobody else is running?
